$111 million Ridgewood School Budget Vote Today

Ridgewood NJ, decision time ,today is the vote on the 2019-2020 $111 million school budget , Your vote on Tuesday, April 16 will help determine the funding for the Ridgewood school district’s programs, staffing and facilities maintenance expenditures for the upcoming school year. Schools will be closed for students and staff but polls will be open from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.

The Ridgewood Board of Education has approved an enormous $111.6 million budget .

The average village home is assessed at $702,225 would see an increase of $173.96 om their property taxes .

Numbers in school budgets are notoriously fluid and the Ridgewood School Board has come under considerable pressure from parents and taxpayers to improve standards and live up to the “Tradition of Excellence ” . Many critics view the BOE as having gone “Rogue” on taxpayers . Budget increases and the resulting property tax increases force more elderly to move out of the area depleting the tax base.

    Schools closed so plenty of parking is avail or just take a walk to vote,

    off the Sofa citizens, either way take a walk in the sunshine and Vote.

    this ones important..lets take back our voice here with the insane School TAXES

    Vote ABSOLUTELY NO and demand change! Additional millions (and higher taxes) will not fix the problem. People will fix the problem. The RIGHT people. Bye bye Fishbein!
