Aronsohn Apologist Has Nerve to Complain About Traffic Congestion in the Ridgewood’s Central Business District

Ridgewood 3 amigos

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, on one of the many Ridgewood Facebook pages a poster said loved to walk in Ridgewood but cars need to heed New Jersey state traffic law .

MOTORISTS in New Jersey MUST stop for pedestrians in a marked crosswalk. Failure to observe the law may subject you to one or more of the following:
2 POINTS
$200 FINE (plus court costs)
15 DAYS COMMUNITY SERVICE
INSURANCE SURCHARGES
NEW JERSEY STATUTE 39:4-36 states:
-The driver of a vehicle must stop and stay stopped for a pedestrian crossing the roadway within any marked crosswalk.

Then the poster went on to say that when the “high density developments ” in the CBD are finished traffic will be much worse.  WELL NO SH$T!!! It one the reasons many sane people opposed the ridiculous over development the Central Business District , the current infrastructure can not sustain high density housing.

We Quote: ***Get the hang of this folks because our traffic issues haven’t even begun. The massive CBD construction projects will create mayhem, practice driving and walking safely NOW! ***

This poster was a big supporter of Paul Aronsohn and the 3 amigos and their design to turn Ridgewood into a small city . The poster also supported and promoted the suicide bike lanes . Nice to see that supporters of Paul Aronsohn finally realize that overdevelopment has put a target on everyone’s back including theirs  and will further destroy the quality of life in the Village .

  1. Jeannie Johnson, such a two-face

  2. Good point, where are all of the Aronson – Pucciarili apologists who said the housing construction wasn’t going to make any sort of difference to our downtown traffic issues?

  3. Don’t get too mad at her, she probably doesn’t even have the self awareness/common sense to understand the consequences of what she and the garage/high density crowd have done. Tim Whiting is another, loud garage supporter who now complains about how high the annual parking fees are. He also recently struggled to understand the difference between motivational banners for the football team and the “proper message for students”. Birds of feather…

  4. “She” (Gwenn) had the self-awareness to smoke Aronsohn’s pole… just sayin’…

  5. James we should probably remove Bruces comment. no matter the politics involved just due to the classiness of the RIDGEWOOD blog, just the facts mamm ( Jack Webb )

  6. Even though it’s well known that the two council members had an affair, I should not have made that comment (which was a poor attempt at humor after having too many drinks). I never intended to harm either Aronsohn or Hauck. I’d like to sincerely apologize to both and wish to retract that classless comment.
