“Bark Park” : The Social scene

Ridgewood NJ, The Ridgewood blog sent out staff to investigate the coming and goings of ” Bark Park ” and here is what we found : First yes the dog park is amazingly over engineered clearly the design was picked to spend the maximum amount of taxpayers money and second far from the park being just a place for dog lovers of all kinds ,it does seem to be a focal point where dog owners and dog lovers of all ages can meet and socialize.

Yes the dogs did what dogs do , they barked , but kids of all ages seemed attracted to the park and peered through the fence cheering on their favorites . It does seem from our afternoon observational sortie , that “Bark Park” is enjoyed by as many dog owners as non dog owners and does however over priced spruce up a rather worn out looking Wild Duck Pond.

The Time to argue about the money is long past ,that starts in the voting both and it is up to active citizen involvement to keep an eye on how our tax money is spent .
