Bicyclist Struck By Car at Grove Street and South Van Dien Avenue

Ridgewood NJ, A bicyclist sustained very minor injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle on Thursday evening at the intersection of Grove Street and South Van Dien Avenue.

Ridgewood Police Chief John Ward (black shirt & kahki pants), and avid bicycle rider himself, was on the scene within minutes assisting the struck cyclist get his bike back on the road.

Also responding were personnel from Ridgewood EMS. The accident investigation was conducted by Ridgewood Police Officers Sean Amoruso and Anthony Mormino. The driver who struck the cyclist was issued a traffic summons.
