Paramus NJ, On Sunday June 23, 2019 the Paramus Police Department and members of Paramus PBA 186 participated in the Knights of Columbus “Tank Pull” to benefit veterans charities. The police department also assisted with moving the tank to and from the Paramus Veterans Home for the event.

Paramus NJ, A three (3) vehicle, Thursday morning, 06/27, collision at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Soldier Hill Road in Emerson resulted in one (1) injury requiring ambulance transport to a local hospital. Paramus Rescue extricated an adult female from a Nissan Rogue involved in the incident. Paramus Police, Paramus EMS, and Paramus Fire Department also assisted at the scene. The Nissan’s driver refused medical attention. Occupants of all other vehicles involved were uninjured.

Paramus NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of ANDRES SOLIS (DOB: 02/04/1990; single; construction worker) of 325 70th Street, Guttenburg, NJ on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault and Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Fort Lee Police Department under the direction of Chief Matthew J. Hintze.
Paramus NJ, Stew Leonard, Jr. of Stew Leonard’s Wines and Spirits will host a major “Mexican Fiesta” after President Donald Trump struck an agreement with the Government of Mexico to avoid tariffs which would skyrocket costs of tequila and goods imported from Mexico. Since tariffs will be held not be placed on imported goods from Mexico, Stew Leonard’s Wine and Spirts shops in Connecticut and New Jersey will host a celebration for residents, patrons and tequila lovers with a margarita and tequila tasting.
Stew Leonard’s Wine and Spirits stores located in Clifton, Paramus and Springfield, NJ as well as in Norwalk, Danbury, and Newington, Conn. will commemorate the day that the tariffs were supposed to go into effect with a tequila tasting party on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 p.m.
Ridgewood, N.J.-based Valley Hospital received approval from the state planning committee June 6 to build a seven story, 362-bed replacement hospital, according to the North Jersey Record.
The new hospital, expected to be completed in 2023, will have single-patient rooms and a five-story parking garage. It will be in Paramus, N.J., about 2.5 miles from the hospital’s current location in Ridgewood.
Rezoning, building and equipping the new hospital is expected to cost $735 million.
