Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood blog has received multiple reports that, a candidate for Village Council, accompanied by another family member, disregarded the caution tape that was deployed around Graydon, and entered the restricted work zone shortly after the tree was felled this morning. The individual became belligerent with a Village employee and refused the leave the restricted work area when asked to do so. The employee telephoned for police assistance in removing the individual; two (2) uniformed patrol officers and a uniformed patrol supervisor were dispatched to assist. The trespasser left the property prior to the police officers’ arrival. It is unknown whether charges will be pressed.

And the campaign signs aren’t even up yet. This is going to be one hell of an election season.

  1. Exactly the reason that everyone should always carry a can of mace or pepper spray with them. Sometimes the cops just aren’t quick enough.

  2. Name? If this person is running for Council we should know who they are. We do not need another wave of crackpots up there.

  3. Let me guess.. DPL?

  4. Let’s calm down folks and play detective. Let’s be Sherlock Holmes. Now, we could make a safe bet it wasn’t Knudsen or Sedon, right.

It wasn’t Harwin or whatever her name is, Why? Women don’t usually act that way.

So, it was probably some man whose name we don’t know or at least I don’t know who is running for council. So just don’t vote for him.

Now if it turns out to be Knudsen or Sedon after all, I will believe that there is a real man in the moon. And that the earth is flat.

Another point, although I do not agree with having a garage at Hudson and even a partial development of Schedler, I do believe that any other person running for council could very well want a BIGGER garage, never NO garage, and more development at Schedler, never none. So just relax folks and eat your Green Eggs and Ham.

  5. Correct. It was neither Susan nor Mike. Nor was it Alexandra Harwin.

  6. It was Bush.

  7. I’d like to hear the other side to this story. Our Parks AND Rec department is known for shadiness.

  8. Denise pierce Lina is about as level headed as that tree was alive.
Bat sh*^ crazy doesn’t cover it. Coming door to door to demand information and support from residents reagrdinf her historic designation wishes or be faced with her threats and special brand of crazy? Where was that nut ball when valley was breathing down the neck of her precious neighborhood? How about her thoughts on preserving our historic downtown from builders? She was crickets. Not even aware. She’s about as good of a choice for a council member as say… jeff Voigt. Next up loony toon Siobhan will be signed up and raring to go and we can officially be laughing stocks.
    Go home Denise.

  9. 8:53, interesting deduction but it was a woman.

  10. 12.50. Siobhan takes lunatic to a whole new level. Scary thing to think she can be a VC member. Yikes.

  11. Be VERY careful with this candidate. She will pull an aronsohn on you, or is that called pulling a voigt on you.
She is showing pro tree, anti development just to gain votes. She is 100% in Aronsohn camp.
