Paramus NJ, a utility pole was snapped at its base after being hit by a Subaru Impreza in the 700 block of Highland Avenue, Paramus late Saturday afternoon, 04/27. The vehicle’s adult male driver walked away from the wreckage with the assistance of a police officer. He was evaluated on the scene by members of a Paramus EMS ambulance. Highland Avenue was closed temporarily in both directions between Bush Place and Fern Place. PSE&G’s Electric Division was notified about the damaged pole.
