>It ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings . . ."H" Zone Master Plan Amendments Approved By Planning Board Require Ratification By Village Council
>“H” Zone Master Plan Amendments Approved By Planning Board Require Ratification By Village Council
That’s right folks, it ain’t over ’til it’s over.
The Village Council must authorize changes to the Master Plan, via introduction and adoption of a revised ordinance, prior to The Valley Hospital proceeding with its planned construction project. The Ridgewood Planning Board’s approval of an amended “H” Zone wasn’t the final step.
That is correct, we will have the pleasure of more public hearings and much more B.S.
So for those of you interested in stopping “The Valley,” you will need to ensure you have enough votes on the Village Council to do so.
Here’s how the votes stack up so far:
Paul Aronsohn – Unknown
Keith Killion – Supported by Concerned Citizens of Ridgewood in 2008 election
Tom Riche – As member of Planning Board, voted in favor of expansion, but was supported by Concerned Citizens of Ridgewood in 2010 election (double crossed CCOR?)
Bernie Walsh – Has publicly opposed hospital expansion; was supported by Concerned Citizens of Ridgewood in 2010 election
To be determined (filling vacant seat) – Voters will decide in November
If you want to stop The Valley, make certain you have a candidate on the ballot in November.
