Sun, 02 Sep 2012 02:23:53 +0000 http://theridgewoodblog.net/?p=19089#comment-27497 to #6 we dont need a mayor in the daily treat , we need the mayor and council walking around and talking to the tax people of the village. we pay taxes for services. end of the story. so when we the tax people know that we have dept’s in town that are low in staff we say what the hell is going on.in the police and fire dept’s are ok so why in the d p w they are down to 8, they used to have 26 in 1990.in 1995 they had 20, in 2000 they 15, so now in 2012 1/2, they are down to 8 come on. and in the shade tree dept they have 3 more going ,this is not good. start replacing workers.
