Ridgewood NJ, its amazing we have gone this far in the Village Council Election and no one has mentioned the infamous ,“Hans Lehmann letter ”. For those of you who are new to the Village , the “Hans Lehmann letter ” was an anti Catholic diatribe sent out in support by the Alexandra Harwin for Council campaign in 2018 . The anti Catholic tirade failed, Harwin  spent $40,135  and lost.

Do You Suffer from “Trump Anxiety Disorder” ?

Ridgewood NJ, Since President Trump was elected, mental health professionals in the United States have seen an increase in patients whose stress has come from politics.

A prevalent “symptom” of the “disorder” is feeling as though the world is going to end.

Before you start saying that this is the result of President Trump’s current behaviors, consider the fact that the American Psychological Association has recorded a rise in anxiety in the Trump era, with a five per cent increase (52 to 57 per cent) in politically induced stress levels over a six-month period before, during and after the 2016 election .

As previously reported on this blog Ridgewood has become a breeding ground for what is now called ,“Trump Anxiety Disorder.”

The American Psychological Association (APA) found in a recent online survey that stress levels following the election are the highest they’ve been in a decade. And the majority of respondents reported stress over the 2016 election and the future of the nation as factors.

The APA also found a correlation between stress levels and electronic news consumption.

Therapists told CBC that in recent months, patients have indicated that separation of migrant families at the border, the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and Trump’s various feuds with other world leaders have all been triggers for “Trump Anxiety Disorder.”

Reader Fondly Remembers all the “insults and hissy fits”, from the Dais

3 amigos in action Ridgewood NJ

As a Ridgewood resident, how would we expect to be treated at public meetings under the Aronsohn-sponsored regime? The way we were treated when he was on the dais. With insults and hissy fits. And do not forget that if, heaven forbid, his protegees should win the election, “here comes the new village manager, just like the old village manager”–in fact, the same as the old village manager, Roberta Sonenfeld. With all those people in place Aronsohn can run the town from Trenton or Newark or wherever his new office will be. How he would love that.

Reader calls Harwin another Aronsohn “Bobble Head “

NC03954lg1

Hilarious. Harwin 3 supporters have come out of the woodwork and are as bright as she is (sarcasm)
Look. She knows nothing. Aronosoh will sell her like the pig he is. Look what they did to poor Gwenn?? Little bobble head. When Saraceno and Paul or Albert would give her the nasty head shake when her drunken ramblings went on too long. She would clam up. Harwin they think you’re a puppet. You don’t even know that. Adorable. Go away now.

Reader says The mayor is a class act

Mayor Susan Knudsen

I’m not in any camp and remained undecided until hearing two candidates speak at coffee. Harwin was pleasant but lacked substance. No grasp on issues, memorized talking points and knows a great deal about herself. Mrs. Harwin did not answer questions. She was accompanied by Paul Aronsohn and Gwenn Hauck. Another coffee was for Knudsen and Sedon and only Knudsen attended. The mayor was gracious and well informed on many issues. She is a wealth of knowledge and discussed issues I was unaware of. Questions were asked and answered without hesitation. Knudsen spoke well of Sedon. Not a fan of Willett. She and Harwin have dirtied themselves by mudslinging and I’m not impressed. The mayor is a class act. I voted Knudsen and Albano in 2014 and will be voting Knudsen and Sedon this time

Bogus Nepotism Attacks Are Really Attacks on Competence and Quality of Ridgewood Police and Fire Departments

PSEG_FIRE6_theridgewoodblog

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, the continued bogus nepotism attacks on the Mayors sons are doing nothing but undermining the authority of both the Ridgewood Police Department and Ridgewood Fire Department . Ridgewood is a state of New Jersey Civil Service municipality, candidates are ranked based on standardized test results ,dispersions to the contrary are nothing more than attacks on members of Ridgewood PBA Local 20 and Ridgewood Professional Firefighters FMBA Local 47.

According to the “Bergen Record” Councilman Jeff Voigt wondered how a fire chief or police chief would be able to properly supervise the mayor’s kids, even if she is not directly involved in overseeing the department. It raises thorny issues, he said. And again letting Voigt make fallacious assertions , “That puts them in an uncomfortable situation,” he said. “They [the kids] may even get preferential treatment.”

So Jeff Voigt , Rurik Halaby, Don Delzio, Janice Willett, Alexandra Harwin and the rest of their band of misfits followers all think the Ridgewood Police and the Ridgewood Fire Department are failing to adequately protect the public?

And In effect saying that the Chief of Police Jacqueline Luthcke and Fire Chief James Van Goor can not properly supervise their staff?

Reader Calls 3 Amigo Puppets a “toxic mix “

Voting Knudsen. like her and trust her. Sonenfeld was bad for village and she’s lying to get her job back. Be very careful before you know it you’ll be bowing to the toxic mix of Village Manager Sonenfeld, Mayor Voight and two aronsohm Hauck puppets named Willett and Harwin. Vagianos is salivating to bring back the huge garage and Delzio is warming up the bulldozer to clear cut the schwdler.

Reader says Alexandra Harwin has listed 4 issues on her website, without any proposed approach to solve them

Alexandra Harwin

She has listed 4 issues on her website, without any proposed approach to solve them.
1. Save us Money – HOW? Everything she wants to do with her 3rd and 4th issue is going to raise the taxes. She just says she is going to save us money without any concrete examples.
2. Promote Progressive Values – Who decides that she is more progressive compared to the other three candidates? If we have to run the election on political affiliation, then lets first do a primary contest.
3. Focus on quality of life – HOW? Which Village roads are bad? All roads in desperate need of repair are county roads. Not Village roads. If she plans to repave all village roads which are not in a bad shape, how will she save us money?
4. Revitalize Downtown – HOW? By following her mentor’s agenda and build a 5 story garage which covers a street and brings out of town commuters to the town? By changing all available lots to multi family housing? By selling the soul to Valley hospital, developers, and rich restaurant owners? – WHAT EXACTLY IS HER PLAN?
Basically EVERYTHING she says – sounds like its coming straight from her mentor’s mind. We all dislike her mentor. He ruined Ridgewood forever.

Village Council Candidate Speaks At Ridgewood High School

Alexandra Harwin

March 13,2018

Ridgewood NJ, village council candidate Alexandra Harwin spoke at Ridgewood High School. No other candidates or councilmembers were invited , Ms Harwin spoke about running for council in Ridgewood  for a full 40 minutes asking the kids for their addresses to post yard signs of her candidacy .

When questioned by angry parents superintendent of Schools Daniel Fishbein said in an email , “this is a student run organization. It appears that you may know one or more of the students who are part of the organization, based on your knowledge of their ages. I suggest that you or other village council members reach out to see if they can be invited. As I stated, this is a club activity and not an academic class. ”

Funny that no sitting council member with experience  has been asked , yet a new candidate who has been to one council meeting for a total of 50 minutes is now an expert. Its also another interesting use of the taxpayer funded $105,000,000 Ridgewood School budget . And interesting to watch a Village Council candidate bully children into compliance.

All the moms  who questioned the events have asked to remain anonymous and are concerned about being booted from Home & School Association membership if their names are exposed regarding this matter .

Ridgewood NJ, Facebook post from September shows Alexandra Harwin campaigning for Paul (the Wall)  Vagianos another promoter of high density housing and destruction of the Village character.

September 7, 2017

Hi all! I am hoping to do lots of canvassing for the Flip the 40th campaign, but I need someone to watch my kids (ages 3.5 and 1) during canvassing hours, as my husband (a rabbi) works Saturday and Sunday mornings during prime canvassing hours. Would anyone else with kids be interested in combining forces and hiring a babysitter together so we can canvas?

The Flip The 40th Campaign was the name of the campaign to get Paul (the wall) Vagianos elected to state assembly .

Rurik Halaby accused Mayor Susan Knudsen of personally orchestrating a web based smear campaign against his candidate Alexandra Harwin

Ridgewood NJ, During last night’s Village Council meeting, Rurik Halaby accused Mayor Susan Knudsen of personally orchestrating a web based smear campaign against his candidate (Alexandra Harwin). Halaby alleged that The Ridgewood Blog was being used “headquarters” for this activity.

Mr. Halaby referred to the Ridgewood blog in the endearing terms that President Trump was alleged to use in referring to certain 3rd world countries, who Glen Rock Mayor Bruce Packer invited to move to Glen Rock . He also referred to his friends and neighbors who read this blog , stating he knows who they are (does that mean all 30,000 plus ) in the most derogatory terms .

As for Alexandra Harwin the new face of the 3 amigos , she moved to Ridgewood in 2014 , her husband is a Rabbi from Washington Township who was very involved in attacking Mayor Knudsen during the “gay flag” controversy and is a very active member of  Community Relations Advisory Board of Ridgewood and Glen Rock.

Alexandra is part of Emerge New Jersey a Democrat group that is involved in promoting liberal women and training them to run for office .

Michael Zuckerman

The second candidate, Michael Zuckerman, explained that his experiences as the son of a board of education member give him insight into what the job requires.

Theresa C. Anzano

The third candidate, Theresa C. Anzano, pointed to things she disapproves of about the board, and gave an impassioned defense of local autonomy in regards to education.

Alexandra Harwin

The fourth candidate, Alexandra Harwin, explained that her experience as a civil rights attorney would help her to work out a solution with the teachers if appointed to the board.

Dana Costache

The fifth candidate, Dana Costache, a native of Romania, explained that she has become disillusioned with the college process that the United States offers, since some people with college degrees are being denied jobs for which they are qualified.
