Ridgewood NJ, Founding Member of The Who, ROGER DALTREY, will sign his new book at Bookends : Roger Daltrey: My Story ,Thursday, October 25 at 7 PM.

If any one member of The Who can be said to be the group’s founding member it is singer Roger Daltrey. In those days Roger, whose daytime job was working in a sheet metal factory, even made the band’s guitars, and it was his energy and ambition that drove the group during their formative years. Trey Gowdy & Tim Scott will be appearing at Bookends in Ridgewood Monday, April 2nd

unified

Ridgewood NJ, Trey Gowdy & Tim Scott will be appearing at Bookends in Ridgewood Monday, April 2nd @ 7:00pm.
South Carolina, Congressman Trey Gowdy and Senator Tim Scott, will sign their new book: Unified

In a divided country desperate for unity, two sons of South Carolina show how different races, life experiences, and pathways can lead to a deep friendship–even in a state that was rocked to its core by the 2015 Charleston church shooting.Tim Scott, an African-American US senator, and Trey Gowdy, a white US congressman, won’t allow racial lines to divide them. They work together, eat meals together, campaign together, and make decisions together. Yet in the fall of 2010–as two brand-new members of the US House of Representatives–they did not even know each other. Their story as politicians and friends began the moment they met and is a model for others seeking true reconciliation. In Indivisible, Senator Scott and Congressman Gowdy, through honesty and vulnerability, inspire others to evaluate their own stories, clean the slate, and extend a hand of friendship that can change your churches, communities, and the world.

Be it Trump Anxiety Syndrome, Impeachment Fantasy Syndrome or Trump Derangement Syndrome, the country is in the throes of a major epidemic, with no known cure and some pretty scary symptoms.

According to Justin Raimondo is the editorial director of Antiwar.com ,Trump Derangement Syndrome being the worst of the bunch and the most serious .TDS victims routinely compare Trump to Hitler: Time magazine ran an opinion piece that asked “Just how similar is Donald Trump to Hitler?” The answer: “The comparison between Hitler and Trump is so poignant” because “both men represent their personal character as the antidote to all social and political problems.”

Raimondo goes on , “The mid-level stages of TDS have a profound effect on the victim’s vocabulary: Sufferers speak a distinctive language consisting solely of hyperbole.”

“As TDS progresses, the afflicted lose the ability to distinguish fantasy from reality. Despite Trump’s expressed desire to “work something out” for the so-called Dreamers – those brought here as very young children – Trump’s critics continue to harp on this issue. Immigration advocate Frank Sharry, executive director of America’s Voice, who has a very bad case of TDS, inadvertently revealed this mind set when he said: “Before anyone falls into the trap of believing that Trump is ‘softening’ on immigration, they should remember that we’ve seen this movie before.”
