Ridgewood NJ, The book signing for Wake Up America by Eric Bolling will take place at Bookends Bookstore (211 East Ridgewood Ave, Ridgewood, NJ  07450) onWednesday, June 29, 2016 at 7:30PM EST.

The event is on Bookends’ homepage.  If readers are unable to attend, they have the option to purchase a signed copy: https://www.book-ends.com/

If a summary is able to be included on the event listing, it is below:

Rising Fox News Channel star Eric Bolling knows first-hand what makes America great. Brought up in a struggling blue-collar family in Chicago, his parents showed him that hard work and firm values can get you far in life. Those values drove him to become a national success as a Fox News Channel personality and co-host of the highly rated show The Five. As Bolling posits in his new book WAKE UP AMERICA: The Nine Virtues that Made Our Nation Great – and Why We Need Them More Than Ever, those strong values, virtues he once saw in America, are now under a tremendous attack by leftist politicians, cultural elites, media, and self-proclaimed educators who have forgotten what made our country strong.  Bolling delivers much-needed celebration of our nation’s founding values, urging U.S. citizens to preserve and protect our country’s present and future.

Drudge, Fox News could be censored under new federal rules, experts warn

By RUDY TAKALA • 8/13/15 3:09 PM

A Washington, D.C., appeals court is set to hear arguments later this year on new net neutrality rules, which critics say could lead to government regulators censoring websites such as the Drudge Report and Fox News.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit will hear oral arguments against the Federal Communications Commission’s rules on Dec. 4. A panoply of amicus briefs filed with the court last week offer a preview of the arguments.

In its February vote on net neutrality, the Federal Communications Commission stated that broadband providers do not have a right to free speech. “Broadband providers are conduits, not speakers … the rules we adopt today are tailored to the important government interest in maintaining an open Internet as a platform for expression,” the majority held in its 3-2 vote.

The rules, which went into effect in June, require that broadband providers — such as Verizon or Comcast — offer access to all legal online content. It did not place such a requirement on “edge providers,” such as Netflix and Google. The FCC defines edge providers as “any individual or entity that provides any content, application, or service over the Internet, and any individual or entity that provides a device used for accessing any content, application, or service over the Internet.”

Megyn Kelly defends Trump questions

By Jesse Byrnes

Fox News host Megyn Kelly is defending her questioning of businessman Donald Trump during the first Republican presidential debate, saying she approached the candidates from multiple angles.

“If you can’t get past me, how are you going to handle Vladimir Putin?” Kelly said with a smile during an interview on Fox News’s “Mediabuzz” aired Sunday.

“We had anticipated that some in the audience might boo us during the middle of our questions,” Kelly said. “They can boo us, and some people are booing us now on Twitter. But that’s all part of it.”

“He felt attacked — it wasn’t an attack, it was a fair question. But I get it. He’s in the arena and so am I,” Kelly said, alluding to asking Trump about previous remarks disparaging women’s appearances.

The interview with Kelly was taped shortly before Trump escalated his feud with the network after the debate, saying on CNN that she had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her… wherever.”

Kelly has so far not commented on that remark, which drew widespread condemnation from Trump’s GOP rivals over the weekend. He has since clarified he was going to finish by saying “ears or nose.”

By Chris Ariens on Aug. 7, 2015

In the estimation of many reporters who cover the political and media beats, Fox News was the winner of the first GOP debate. And with the just-released ratings we can confirm that.

A whopping 24 million watched the debate from 9 p.m. ET to just past 11 p.m. ET. FNC drew 7.9 million in the A25-54 demo.

This is now the highest non-sports cable program of all time, the highest-rated cable news program of all time, and Fox News’s most-watched program ever.

The 5 p.m. ET debate, withe the 7 lower-tier candidates did very well for Fox News too, drawing 6.1 million total viewers and 1.2 million in the demo, making it the third-highest primary debate ever on cable.
