Hillsdale NJ, on Sunday, February 18th, 2024, at approximately 4:20 pm, Hillsdale Police Officers Marro #89 and Bruce #92 responded to the area of Hillsdale Avenue and Broadway for a male party, later identified as Daniel Margulies, who fled from the Walgreens in our jurisdiction with stolen goods. Both officers made initial contact with MARGULIES at the Hillsdale train station, but upon attempting to detain MARGULIES, MARGULIES fled from the officers.

Multiple Agencies Respond to Single Family Home Fire In Montvale

Montvale NJ, on February 3, 2024 at approximately 2:10pm, the Montvale Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a single family home on E. Grand Ave for a reported basement fire. First arriving Montvale Police units confirmed a working fire. Chief M10 requested an elevated alarm assignment. Tri-Boro Volunteer Ambulance Corps and multiple police departments for their assistance.

Park Ridge Police Officers Rescue Fawn from Storm Drain

Park Ridge NJ, every day, Park Ridge Police Officers put on many different hats during their daily duties. Today was no different when we received a call of a week old fawn that was stuck in a storm drain. With the mother doe near by waiting in angst, Officer Giacchi was able to remove the baby fawn from the storm drain. This is just one example of how many different roles our officers take on during their daily patrol functions.

Park Ridge NJ, The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Park Ridge Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in yesterday’s Oritani Bank robbery.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at approximately 12:20 p.m., the male suspect entered the Oritani bank located at 177 Kinderkamack Rd in Park Ridge, NJ and asked to speak with the bank manager. While speaking with the manager, the suspect advised that he was in possession of a bomb and requested that all employees accompany him to the vault.

Park Ridge NJ, Park Ridge Police Department has issued a SCAM ALERT: “computer repair” service cold-calling and requesting access to your computer OR a pop-up on your screen saying “call tech support at xxx-xxx-xxxx”. They ‘bill you too much’ and request the difference back in gift cards/money order.

Through remote access they gain access to your bank accounts and money is transferred from one of your bank accounts to another to make it appear as a deposit.
