Newark NJ, the hashtag “Boycott Lukoil” has been popping up online, and Wednesday, the Newark City Council voted to suspend Lukoil licenses in New Jersey’s largest city. Trenton NJ, after a whole summer of social unrest over police and community relations the NJ Senate Law and Public Safety Committee voted on legislation to loosen training requirements for new police officers. S4208 would allow municipal and county police departments to establish a nine-month probationary period for new officers, during which they could assume police duties without completing basic training. In response to this legislation advancing, New Jersey Policy Perspective (NJPP), a far left social justice group released the following statement.

Washington DC, the Interior Department recommends taking steps to increase fees for drilling on public lands, arguing that taxpayers are currently being shortchanged. The department says that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) should carry out several policies that increase these rates. Drilling on public lands represents 7 percent of domestically produced oil and 8 percent of domestically produced natural gas.

Ramsey NJ, Frank Pallotta, candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s fifth Congressional district issued the following statement regarding the NJEA’s statement on the Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty verdict.
I stand in support of those calling for the NJEA to retract its statement and to apologize for their terribly short-sighted and premature response to last weeks verdict.  I was shocked and appalled by the reckless and totally irresponsible reaction from the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) following Friday’s not guilty verdict in the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse.

Ridgewood NJ, even the liberal fact-checking site Politifact admits that one of the three female Black Lives Matter co-founders have declared that she and another co-founder “are trained Marxists.” But they quickly add that “the movement has grown and broadened dramatically” since then. Many youths in upper middle class Ridgewood bought into this group with parental encouragement hook line and sinker .

Ridgewood NJ, oil price surged to $75 a barrel this week under Biden’s green energy policies.  The price was as low as $35 a barrel under President Trump, because Trump promoted a policy of more oil meant lower prices at the pump. This was effectively a massive multi-billion dollar tax cut for lower and middle incomes.

Biden Administration Declares War on Capital

Ridgewood NJ, the stock market had been predicting that the Biden Administration would call for a 28% capital gains tax, so when the word came out last week that he wants a 43% capital gains tax, it triggered a stock sell off.  A share of stock is simply worth its after-tax and after-inflation rate of return, so a higher capital gains tax (combined with and a higher corporate tax) translates into lower stock values, by definition.

Media Hyped Pro-Trump “Planned Protest” Doesn’t Materialize

Trenton NJ, apparently the media is caught in another big lie , after weeks of non stop hyperbolic propaganda about supposed “pro-trump protests ” at the states capitol,  all is quiet .

A  heavy police presence guarded Trenton’s downtown , with state troopers wearing body shields stationed inside and outside of the Statehouse  with Department of Corrections buses parked nearby.

Police, community leaders and many others spent the last week or so preparing for possible protests, as the “FBI warned” of possible assaults on all state capitols nationwide.

Aside from law enforcement  a clueless  cadre of reporters and photographers assembled  to document the “planned protest”.

The fact is there was no plan by pro-Trump supporters  to march on capitol buildings nationwide, the whole thing was and is media hype. Anyone could have Googled it or looked it up on Facebook.
