In a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey most Americans are happy with their lives and don’t think money made them that way..The majority of Americans also think rich people earned what they have by working for it.
The Rasmussen survey finds that only 20% of American Adults are not happy with how their lives are going. Two-out-of-three (66%) disagree and are happy with their lives while thirteen percent (13%) are just not sure ,what ever that means. These types of results seem to blow a hole in the class warfare rhetoric coming from the white house and most of the mainstream media .It also suggests that unlike Washington most Americans work hard and still expect to work hard to build a better life,.
Politicians who have never worked a day in their lives in the private sector would be well advised to lay off the criticism of people who have worked . The survey suggests that Americans still equate hard work with success and not politics.
In a near jobless economy voters make take attacks on peoples jobs and hard work as a personal attack on themselves. Its seems the American work ethic is alive an well.
