Reader says Court Ordered Over development is part of the continuing efforts to punish the “rich’ suburbs and provide another method of transferring money from hard working folks to those who in many cases chose not to contribute

At the base level, this is not just about housing. This is part of the continuing efforts to punish the “rich’ suburbs and provide another method of transferring money from hard working folks to those who in many cases chose not to contribute. Take a look at why the tolls are so high on the bridges or your NJ Transit ticket so high. There are large percentages of those funds that support the city infrastructures, subways, etc. Money transfer?
There a volumes of books written about these schemes to ‘change’ the neighborhoods through exaction of money, influx of people who could not afford to live there, and try to force people to accept those who they would prefer not to. I don’t care what the politics, race, or lifestyle is of my neighbor as long as they can pay for the house, taxes, and upkeep.
Wake up folks, keep voting for liberals and watch the things you want to protect continue to eroded underneath you. Ridgewood is directly in the sights of the Governor and others. Anyone who thinks we wont have 1000+ units at the Valley site and other locations is just not fully aware of how these things work.

  1. If the above was written by a Ridgewood resident it will give you a pretty good idea of who lives here now. Good luck with that.

  2. 2017 Election Results (Ridgewood)

    60% for Democrats
    40% for Republicans

  3. Lots of highly educated people residing physically here in Ridgewood, but also living in amental fantasyland where all the socialist theories they were weaned on in HS and college actually work out in the end rather than leading to what Venezuela is now (i.e., how things always eventually work out in the real world). Wish they would come out of their trance all at once but it takes some people a long time.

  4. 7:40… aka a clueless fool.

  5. Murphy is working hard, with the help of many voters to make NJ the next Venezuela

  6. The state of nj has been run into the toilet by all the inner city reps with the big populations that send politicians to Trenton . Before the law was changed to outlaw dual office holders, most big city mayors were also state senators, who appropriated money to take home and spend in their shit-hole cities. Sharpe James of Newark is a perfect example. They used their power to appoint liberal judges to the nj Supreme Court, so we have the abbot school ruling and the mount laurel housing decisions that drain the state treasury. These are the same libtards that let the cop killer trantino walk out of prison. They are owned by the unions that have milked every dime they can from the state. It’s only a matter of time before the state implodes financially since none of the democrats who control the state have the balls to stand up for what is right.. Hence the reason those who actually pay taxes are bailing out of the state, and those moving in are non contributors thanks to murphys sanctuary state. Sad to see the state I have lived in all my life go in the liberal toilet.

  7. 7:40 – Libtard douche. Too easy to play the bigot / racist card. Time to move on. Like the author wrote, I don’t care who my neighbors are as long as they are decent human beings who maintain their homes and pay their bills. Take a drive past any affordable housing development a few years after occupants move in and you’ll immediately notice lack of upkeep. I don’t care how much money you have. Picking up trash, not littering and keeping your grass cut doesn’t cost anything. Just little effort.
