” I think the building owner OR the shopkeeper should take care of them. I don’t think that village employees need to do this. It is not that big a deal to get a flat of impatiens in May and plant them, water them a couple of times a week, come on. And as for the ones filled with weeds and cigarette butts, shame on the shopkeepers who can’t take five minutes in the morning to spruce them up.”

  1. If no one is willing to assume responsibility for the wells, they should be removed.

  2. To the original poster: No one is stopping you from cleaning, weeding and planting impatiens. After all, “it’s not that big a deal”…..

  3. Sounds good to me. They are all beat up anyway. Falling a part from the roots from the tree and cars driving into them. The town installed them it’s the town’s responsibility. If anyone trips over them they’re showing the town not the landlord not the tenant. That’s the law.

  4. Exactly if you pay rent or if you are the landlord. And you pay big taxes and you would like to spend more money on the flower bed good for you. I will never do that, Because what’s next. Paying for the curbs and sidewalks to be redone. Picking up garbage on the sidewalk in the street.

  5. Maybe we can turn them into micro-parking facilities…

  6. So the town wants to take credit when the trees are planted (or not this year, where is Mike Sedon when you need him) but now that his wheel well recommendation is failing now the stores need to take care of it. Wrong
