  1. Maybe the Fourth of July fireworks and parade should be on Saturday. Because that would save a tremendous amount of money in overtime.Yes it’s very nice to have it on the Fourth of July but we need to watch our budget.

  2. That’s with many other towns are doing maybe we should have a regular da that’s with many other towns are doing maybe we should have a Ridgewood Day.

  3. They should pass in order and it’s only put on your chairs on the day of the poor wife. Because it’s annoying it’s dirty so lobby looking

  4. The 4th of July is a rich tradition in Ridgewood for over 100 years. Why would you celebrate it on any other day but the 4th? The placing of the chairs days before is what makes it special in Ridgewood. Its very sad to see all the negativity going on. We are a community of families that return specifically for the 4th and its festivities. Please do not make Ridgewood into a transient town. We are rich in our traditions, this being one of the most important.
Residents need to stop taking for granted the parade and fireworks. So much hard work goes into the preparations from all the volunteers. It is all privately funded. And it is expensive!!!
Instead of the criticism, please volunteer, contribute and celebrate this tradition.
