Ridgewood NJ, Mark your calendars (it is early) for this annual traditional Ridgewood Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration…..FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2018…5:30-9pm
rain or shine…
You do not have to go to NYC to see the lighting of a huge Christmas Tree…this is a locally grown Ridgewood Tree.
Join this “traditional” celebration Friday, November 30, 2018 5:30-7pm .E. Ridgewood Ave will be filled with Holiday music and entertainment.
Santa will be in Van Neste Park for the little ones. While waiting for Santa, listen to Cider Sing and Tasting.
Across the street from Santa will be a (weather permitting) a track-less train for the kids to ride,sponsored by Primrose School of Paramus.
Music by the clock, RHS Marching Band, RHS Holiday Chorus, Jamboree 2019, Taekwondo All in and much more-weather permitting
7-7:45pm-All eyes will be on stage at the end of E. Ridgewood Ave. where happy feet, lovable voices and winning smiles will help to light up the this beautiful Christmas tree…7:30pmish.
RHS Marching Band, Art of Motion, Porch Light Production. Dedication of this years tree.and much more.
7:45pmish-9pm back onto East Ridgewood Avenue for more music, entertainment, Santa will be in the PARK and the trackless train will run until 8:45pm.
The Streets will open between 8:45-9pm.
Don’t forget Santa will be back in Ridgewood on Saturday December 1:
10am-1pm-Santa will come up E. Ridgewood Ave. and go directly to Columbia Bank- 60 S. Broad St., where we will greet each children, have a picture take and receive a gift-this event is inside.
2pm-4pm, Santa will go over to his house in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square (weather permitting). Bring you pets also.
Ben & Jerry’s will be serving free hot chocolate.
10:30am at the BowTie Warner Movie Theatre FREE movie for the children-The Polar Express will be the movie
Santa in the Park-weather permitting Saturday, December 8, 15, 22 12N-3pm Ben & Jerry’s serving free hot chocolate.

sadly it’s an evening to forget how mismanaged we are with little delivered to the average homeowner but more developers schemes to build, sell and bail out with the cash leaving town taxpayers to build more schools and services for non conforming development of rental units
further degrading of services with higher taxes and liabilities.Wish it were no so..We know what’s coming..
many families openly speaking of selling and getting out of Ridgewood…Realtors love that development..
