I attended the open house and it was really lovely. Everyone was so welcoming and so happy. There was food for everyone, beverages, a get-well card for all to sign for the officer who was shot, a condolence card for the families who lost loved ones, pictures of the victims. A very interesting information session was presented as well as a tour of the beautiful temple. Clearly a great deal of effort and planning had gone into this event. I would like to thank the Sikh community who opened their doors to all of us yesterday.
