Senate Candidate Joe Kyrillos visits Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, Senate Candidate Joe Kyrillos made the rounds in the Village today accompanied by Freeholder Maura DeNicola , Freeholder Rob and Free holder candidate Hermansen , FreeHolder Candidate Margaret Watkins ,Village Councilmen Tom Riche and Councilwomen Bernie Walsh .

Candidate Kyrillos showed up at the Co-op’s 35th Annual Fabulous Fall Festival at Graydon Pool parking lot meeting an greeting voters and enjoying the festivities , later he made his way to the Daily Treat on Ridgewood Avenue.

Candidate Kyrillos spent most of the day hammering home his “Getting America back to work ”  message .

“Americans are struggling through the weakest economic recovery since the Great Depression. After 43 straight months of over 8 percent unemployment, it’s clear that Washington is failing us. Out-of-control spending and record-breaking tax increases have left our economy stagnant. Now Bob Menendez is pushing for even more tax increases that will hit job creators and small businesses, making it even harder to grow and hire new workers.

New Jersey knows there is a better way forward. Joe Kyrillos has worked tirelessly with Governor Christie to keep taxes low and force government to live within its means.

It’s time to take this common-sense approach to Washington. Joe will be our fighter for policies that empower Americans to do what they do best: work hard, innovate, grow businesses, and create good-paying jobs. It’s a simple recipe that the Washington politicians have forgotten: the path to economic growth is paved with low and predictable taxes, leaner government, less regulation, and a 21st century education policy that puts children first.”

He also touched on Tax reform , “Washington has saddled us with a higher tax burden, and they’ve left us guessing about when the next big tax increase will strike. Bob Menendez is already pushing for billions in new taxes, and you can bet that there will be more on the way.

This is no way to grow an economy. We can’t tax our way to a prosperous future. Businesses need a predictable, low-tax climate in order to confidently expand, invest and hire new workers.

Every recent bipartisan panel has reached the same conclusion: we need fundamental reform that lowers tax rates and eliminates loopholes. Washington should stop picking winners and losers through the tax code and instead focus on building a tax climate hospitable to growth and job creation.”
