ArtChick enjoys trading Mail Art with other artists as well as participating in mail art exhibitions around the world and sending work to private art collectors. Come see some of the worlds top DJ’s displayed on Metal Murals and pop style dancing silhouettes. Each mural displays the DJ in focus surrounded by impressionistic color light movements. March 8th Super Science Saturday
Ridgewood High School 9AM to 1PM
Super Science Saturday, the greatest science estravaganza in Northern New Jersey, is an annual event held for youth and adults to join in the excitement of science. Some of the many interactive exhibits this year will include a wheelchair maze, live animals, outdoor rocket launches, paper airplane contests, and a professional science show by the Franklin Institute. March 21st Early Spring Instructional Tennis
Ridgewood Recreation Dept
The Ridgewood Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with ALL PRO TENNIS, will begin offering tennis lessons the last week of March. Youth classes will be held on Thursdays or Fridays at the Bellair or North Monroe Courts: Grade K-1 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Grades 2-4 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Grades 5 and up 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The fee for each five-week session is $ 90.00. All classes cancelled due to rain will be made up. Participants will be grouped according to age and experience and will learn the proper stance, tennis terminology, stroke technique, game rules, and strategy. All participants are required to have a 2008 tennis badge. Photo identification tennis badges are available by appointment. Registration can be made in person or by mail to the Stable, 259 N. March 22 Easter in Ridgewood

Festivities are center in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square. The Easter Bunny will lead an Easter Bonnet Parade in the park at 11AM with all the children who want to participate. After the parade, parents will be able to take pictures of their children with the Easter Bunny. While in the park and after the parade the children will be able to ride the trackless train courtesy of the Ridgewood News. A TROLLEY for added family fun will travel through the business district courtesy of the Ridgewood News. All activities are from 11Am to 1PM and are free of charge.
