The Daily Voice posted this about his most recent arrest: “Ritter was sworn in as a parking enforcement in agent in Ridgewood in July 2023. A Ridgewood official tells Daily Voice that Ritter resigned “months ago.””
We wonder if an Open Public Records Act request would reveal the number of parking tickets Mr. Ritter issued long after he is reported to have submitted his resignation.
Why is someone in the Village so eager to distance themselves from this guy? So he worked here. What’s the issue? Failure to properly background check maybe?
the Ridgewood blog has reported that on multiple occasions
He accidentally shot himself? Another media outlet reported this.
Check your recent parking tickets. If you have any that were issued by this guy, they will be dismissed if you go over to the violations bureau.
Why? What is the legal basis for dismissing a lawfully written ticket?.
If the ticket challenged, he is unavailable to appear in court to support its issuance.
Supposedly that job went to his head, he was getting a little out of control a little too aggressive. That’s all he wanted to do was write. Tickits put more stripes on his shoulder. That is old school shit look at me. Look how many tickets I wrote remember those assholes
Isn’t it the nature of the job to write tickets? Is there another facet of a parking meter enforcement. I am unaware of?
Please stop
perhaps more focus on the vetting process
