Village of Ridgewood’s 2019 Veterans Day Ceremony Disrespected by Councilmember

Village of Ridgewoods 2019 Veterans Day

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, How disrespectful. An elected official, introduced by the Master of Ceremonies as an “honored guest,” sitting on the dais snapping photos during a solemn ceremony honoring veterans of war. No one else on the dais had either a camera or a cell phone in hand during the entire ceremony. What a moron. How did he ever get elected?

Ridgewood NJ, The Ridgewood Health Department asks: Did you know that 1 in 11 Americans today suffer from Diabetes? Despite its prevalence, diabetes is an invisible disease. It affects men and women, people young and old, and people of all races, shapes and sizes. Often there are no outward signs from the 29 million Americans who fight this chronic illness every day. That’s why there is a critical need to foster awareness and education while breaking down stereotypes, myths and misunderstandings about this growing public health crisis that affects so many of us.

No, There is Not Going to Be a full-size baseball field at Schedler

schedler field 2

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood blog has picked up chatter that the 2014 plan for a 90-foot baseball field was still on at Schedler.

According to Mayor Ramon Hach the plan for 90-foot baseball diamond was discarded in 2016. The Village Council decided to move forward with a new design that was proposed by the Schedler Ad hoc Committee in 2017. The new design includes a protective berm, a playground, a walking path, 44 parking spaces, restrooms and a 75×50 yard multi-purpose which will take up about 1/4 the space of a full-size baseball field. The presentation can be accessed with this

RBSA: SAFETY TRAINING & INSTRUCTION – “THE SMOKING GUN!”

Baseball

“RBSA Corruption PART 3: SAFETY TRAINING & INSTRUCTION – “THE SMOKING GUN!”

While the RBSA could meet NJ’s LEGAL SAFETY TRAINING REQUIREMENTS for around 10k per year, they are generating, on AVERAGE, $50k/YEAR in REVENUE and $150k/YEAR in EXPENSE for SAFETY TRAINING and INSTRUCTION…

That’s a MONSTER COST and an even BIGGER NET LOSS! Seems CRIMINAL to me….

Who is writing checks for TRAINING?
Who is getting paid off this TRAINING?
Who is performing this TRAINING?!?
Why is the RBSA’s SAFETY TRAINING operating at a HUGE NEGATIVE MARGIN?!?
Why did the RBSA report -$0- in REV/EXPENSE for 2014/2015?

Is SAFETY TRAINING an ENGINE for KICKBACKS?
Is SAFETY TRAINING being conducted in HAWAII?!?
Does SAFETY TRAINING include EXPENSIVE SCOTCH, GOLF and CIGARS?!??

I don’t know. I don’t care…where there’s SMOKE there’s FIRE…

It is my position that the RBSA is the MOST CORRUPT 501c3 YOUTH BASEBALL ORGANIZATION in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA….

true story….”

Ridgewood NJ,  Two years Village employee Edgar Arevalo of Pompton Lakes was the victim of an indoor chlorine spill. Arevalo was working in September 2017 at Ridgewood Water when an employee from Farmingdale-based Miracle Chemical Co. arrived on village property to deliver chlorine. According to a lawsuit filed late last month, the chemical company employee failed to transfer the chlorine to the chemical storage tank properly,  failing to secure the chemical transfer hose or using a defective hose.
