You might be surprised by the amount of exploitation that occurs in your own backyard. Unfortunately, the “Made in America” tag isn’t enough to guarantee that no workers were exploited. United States companies have long engaged in practices to exploit workers both overseas and locally.
” It’s actually an interesting legal question. Who, among those born within the United States of America to a non-citizen mother and a non-citizen father, does NOT meet the requirements for U.S. citizenship set forth in the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution? In this instance, the jurisdictional “exception” to which the U.S. government authorities are pointing applies to children born to foreign diplomats. Her rejoinder is said to be that her father’s status as a foreign diplomate ended a month before she was born. Well heck! Who knew you could convert your soon-to-be-born child into an anchor baby simply by arranging for your home country to temporarily “fire” you a few weeks before your child is born, only to reinstate you shortly thereafter? One is left wondering whether this is just another form of birth tourism… “
Ridgewood NJ, while the mainstream media made much of the Irish Prime Minister claiming Saint Patrick is the symbol, “the partron of immigrants”. The truth however could not however be further ,and if so illegal Immigrants are in big trouble .
The truth comes from Saint Patrick himself through the chance survival of two remarkable letters which he wrote in Latin in his old age.
The real Saint Patrick was not Irish at all, but a spoiled and rebellious youth of Roman citizenship living a life of luxury in fifth-century Britain. Saint Patrick was kidnapped from his family’s estate as a teenager and sold into slavery across the sea in Ireland.
For six long years he endured torture and brutal conditions as he watched over his master’s sheep on a lonely mountain in a strange land.
Saint Patrick went to Ireland an atheist, but there heard what he believed was the voice of God. When he finally escaped and risked his life to make a perilous journey across Ireland, he found passage back to Britain on a pirate ship.
His family welcomed back their long-lost son with open arms and assumed he would take up his life of privilege, but Saint Patrick heard a different call. He returned to Ireland to bring a new way of life to a people who had once enslaved him.
There he became a warrior ,constantly faced opposition, threats of violence, kidnapping, and even criticism from jealous church officials, while his Irish followers faced abuse, murder, and enslavement themselves by mercenary raiders. But through all the difficulties Saint Patrick maintained his faith and persevered in his Irish mission.
The Ireland that Saint Patrick lived was utterly unlike the Roman province of Britain in which he was born and raised. Dozens of petty Irish kings ruled the countryside with the help of head-hunting warriors while Druids guided their followers in a religion filled with countless gods and perhaps an occasional human sacrifice.
Saint Patrick was not an illegal immigrant but a kidnapped slave forced into servitude , To quote Democrat Senator Bob Menendez says on Twitter what may have felt is the real purpose for illegal immigrants the Senator commented on Twitter, “A #DayWithoutImmigrants means Senators & Senate staff couldn’t get their coffee because immigrants are part of our everyday lives” . Associating Saint Patrick with illegal immigration simply implys the illegals are here as seconclass citizens to shine your shoes, cut your lawn and make your coffee.
Homeland Security Secretary John F. Kelly has signed sweeping new guidelines that empower federal authorities to more aggressively detain and deport illegal immigrants inside the United States and at the border.
In a pair of memos, Kelly offered more detail on plans for the agency to hire thousands of additional enforcement agents, expand the pool of immigrants who are prioritized for removal, speed up deportation hearings and enlist local law enforcement to help make arrests.
The new directives would supersede nearly all of those issued under previous administrations, Kelly said, including measures from President Barack Obama aimed at focusing deportations exclusively on hardened criminals and those with terrorist ties.
“The surge of immigration at the southern border has overwhelmed federal agencies and resources and has created a significant national security vulnerability to the United States,” Kelly stated in the guidelines.
He cited a surge of 10,000 to 15,000 additional apprehensions per month at the southern U.S. border between 2015 and 2016.
The German Catholic Church called for a reduction in the influx of refugees arriving in Germany, saying the country cannot take in “all the world’s needy,” according to an interview published Saturday.
Germany has been struggling to cope with 1.1 million asylum seekers that arrived in 2015 and Berlin has not yet given an official estimate for how many it expects this year.
“As a church we say that we need a reduction in the number of refugees,” Cardinal Reinhard Marx, chairman of the German Bishops’ Conference, told the Passauer Neue Presse daily.
Germany cannot “take in all the world’s needy,” Marx added.
The question of how to respond to the migrant crisis, he asserted, should not solely be a matter of “charity but also reason.”
DRESDEN, Germany (AP) — Protesters rallied against Islam and immigration in several European cities Saturday, sometimes clashing with police or counter-demonstrators amid growing tensions over the massive influx of asylum-seekers to the continent.
Riot police clashed with demonstrators in Amsterdam as supporters of the anti-Islam group PEGIDA tried to hold their first protest meeting in the Dutch capital. Only about 200 PEGIDA supporters were present, outnumbered by police and left-wing demonstrators who shouted, “Refugees are welcome, fascists are not!”
Dutch riot police detained several people as officers on horseback intervened to separate the two groups of demonstrators. It was not immediately clear how many people were detained.
In Germany, up to 8,000 people took part in a PEGIDA rally in Dresden, according to the independent group Durchgezaehlt, which monitors attendance figures. Up to 3,500 people took part in a counter-demonstration on the other side of the Elbe River that divides the city, it said.
No incidents were reported at the event.
In the northern French city of Calais, police dispersed a rowdy anti-migrant protest with tear gas after clashes with protesters and detained several far-right demonstrators.
Around 150 militants from the anti-Islam, anti-immigration group PEDIGA gathered Saturday chanting slogans like: “We must not let Calais die!”
Calais has been a focal point for migrants who want to slip into Britain via the Channel Tunnel. Several thousand have been living there in slums for months.

The country saw another surge of illegal immigrant families crossing the border in July, a top Homeland Security official told a federal court late Thursday as the administration begged a judge not to forbid detention of new migrant mothers and children.
Deputy Border Patrol Chief Ronald Vitiello said the number of illegal immigrant families captured at the border rose in July, bucking a trend and worrying officials who had been expecting the number of families to drop as the heat increases in late summer, just as the number of unaccompanied minors does.
More than 60 percent of registered Hispanic voters do not think a pathway to citizenship for illegals would benefit the country, and most do not see it as the best way to solve the country’s immigration problems, a new poll shows.
Of the 62 percent who felt a pathway to citizenship for illegals would not benefit the country, 33 percent felt it would hurt the economy, 7 percent felt it would overly burden public schools and 10 percent felt it would create public safety issues, the McKeon & Associates Wednesday poll found.
“The economy is still the issue,” Michael McKeon told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “When 33 percent think immigration will hurt the economy, that’s what’s on their min
Reporting on a recently released survey by Rasmussen Reports that indicates that 62% of Americans oppose sanctuary city policies, Telemundo, the nation’s second largest Spanish-language network, slanted its coverage in favor of maintaining the controversial policy. Reporting from the sanctuary city of Chicago, Telemundo correspondent Janet Rodríguez cited an unauthorized immigrant in favor of the policy, along with two quotes from Congressman Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL), who had the gall to minimize Kate Steinle’s murder, at the hands of a hardened criminal and five-time deportee, in the sanctuary city of San Francisco.
Garrett Stands with New Jersey Residents Against President Obama’s Unconstitutional Amnesty
Mar 3, 2015
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Scott Garrett (NJ-05), issued the following statement today after voting to end President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty:
“Over seven weeks ago, the House stood with the American people by voting to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security, and to put an immediate stop to President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty. It was my hope that Senate Democrats would stop performing political gymnastics and answer repeated calls from the House to come to Conference with this bill so we could work on a deal in the best interest of our constituents.
“I supported short-term funding extensions to continue these negotiations with the Senate in good faith, but I cannot ignore the will of my constituents by supporting a bill that allows President Obama’s executive amnesty plan to continue unchecked. I stand with the people of New Jersey’s Fifth District, law-abiding immigrants, and the Constitution of the United States, and I will continue to fight to undo the damage caused by President Obama’s actions.”
