Tuxedos and suits have been added this year. Rutherford NJ, when I was a kid I would often go dirt bike riding on this rail strip ,now the Open Space Institute (OSI) and officials from Bergen County today announced the acquisition of a former rail corridor linking the communities of Rutherford and East Rutherford.  Permanent protection of the 1.2-mile-long property is the first step in building an 11-acre public park in this densely populated area.

Rutherford NJ, Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a NJ Transit train in Rutherford on Saturday morning. According to NJ TRANSIT the pedestrian was struck by a Bergen County Line No. 1854 train, which left Waldwick at 7:35 a.m. and was due to arrive in Hoboken at 8:20 a.m.

Teen Driver Killed in Rutherford Crash

Rutherford NJ, a 17 years old Bergen County teen driver died after striking a telephone pole and caught fire on Friday. According to Rutherford Police Chief John Russo who told Patch the vehicle, a two-door BMW Sedan, was traveling westbound on Marginal Road between Lincoln Avenue and Wheaton Place at 3 p.m.
