Ridgewood NJ, according to Forbes magazine the No. 1 College 2017 is Harvard University, followed by Stanford and Yale. The highest-ranking public school (nonmilitary) is the University of California, Berkeley; the U.S. Naval Academy is the top military academy. The goal of the Forbes List is to showcase the colleges and universities that deliver the best return on your education investment dollars.Forbes pointed out that College may be the best years of your life but they may also be among the most expensive as costs continue to escalate. According to the College Board, tuition, fees, room and board for the 2016-17 school year was $20,090 annually for public schools for in-state students, a rise of 2.7% over 2015-16. 1. Just the fact that U cal Berkeley is on this list shows what a complete load of bullshit that it really is. A puff piece from Forbes no less.
Let’s keep the narrative going so you can end up with 200K
In student loans after attending one of these fine institutions.

  2. “nonmilitary”
    Why?
    .
Probably too embarrassing to see how many graduates of West Point et. al. are/were CEOs and prominent leaders in their field.
    .

  3. 5:02….how about you provide us with this list? As far as return on your education investment dollars, the academies are at the top by far….there is no tuition.

  4. To point out what should be a bit obvious, Harvard correlates with post-graduate success because it starts with the smartest kids in the country. The schools at the bottom generally have the least talented kids. So to imply cause and effect here is a little lame. If all the Harvard undergraduates went to Farleigh Dickinson and vice versa, the results would be a bit different.

  5. My school is 116 on the list and is definitely full of dumbasses who only know how to follow directions. May be a good return on investment but these people will always be followers, not leaders.
