Ridgewood NJ, the Village of Ridgewood is , looking to identify the owner of a Tan pitbull with black nose being walked on a leash by an approximate 60 year old women with blonde/ white hair short with pink shirt and blue shorts that was on Dunham trail today at about 2:15pm. This dog bit a boy on a bike. If we can identify the owner and verify valid rabies certificate, this child can avoid getting the series of rabies shots. Please share and have person call Dawn at the Health Department 201 670 5500 ext 245. Thank you!
Another Pitbull attack.
All you pricks defending this breed have no idea what your talking about. Their bred to kill.
Find the owner and prosecute to the full extent of the law.
The animal put down .
There are no bad pitbulls, only bad owners….
BAN ALL BIKE TRAILS.
If we can save just one kid…..
Until you have had one of these fuckers clamped to you midsection you have absolutely no opinion…STFU
To all these newbies who think its ‘trendy’ to ‘rescue’ a dog bring about these problems.
How about go rescue a teenager from Paterson, bring them into your home… so how it goes with your kids.
Lots of questions:
1) We have a physical description of the dog’s owner, but the owner did not stay the scene after the dog bit a child??
2) Were there witnesses??
3) The parents of the child just let the dog’s owner walk away without doing anything??
This doesn’t make sense!
On a related note, lots of towns have banned “aggressive breeds” (e.g. pit bulls). Ridgewood should do the same!
