Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce welcomed hundreds of families to downtown Ridgewood for its beloved “Easter in the Park” celebration, held Saturday, April 19 at Memorial Park in Van Neste Square.
The event kicked off in classic springtime fashion with an Easter egg hunt, as children dashed across the park in search of colorful eggs filled with treats and surprises. The energy was joyful, and laughter filled the air as kids ran from one grassy patch to another.
Family Fun in Full Bloom 🌼
Activities were spread throughout the park, including:
-
Holiday photo ops with balloon displays
-
Sidewalk chalk art sessions around the square
-
Arts and crafts station filled with markers, crayons, and coloring sheets
-
Live performances from the talented musicians at the School of Rock in Waldwick, who had attendees clapping and singing along to hits like “Barracuda” by Heart and “Jump” by Van Halen
Local Vendors, Food, and Community Connections 🍪🎨
A variety of vendors and local businesses helped bring even more life to the event. Ridgewood Station Cafe, Swim School, Toastique, Ben & Jerry’s, Treat Me Sweet Cookies, and Wonder kept guests full and smiling with tasty bites and sweet treats.

Even Girl Scout Troop 355 joined in, selling their famous Girl Scout Cookies and proudly representing Ridgewood’s local youth.

So payed for the new flower pots, the town, or was that donated
If the village spent $20,000 on flower pots at a timeline this, then you really know doesn’t really sick shit going on. Now, if it was donated, that’s all I’m good. Boy they love spending money.
What is amazing riding through the village CBD today and yet we’re in mid April and is still a lot of leaves and debris under the trestle going around the bend on a curb line, aren’t they sweeping that. Who’s in charge, who is inspecting, I guess no one or they don’t care. Obviously. Another embarrassing moment.
