Ridgewood NJ, in a stunning election night, former President Donald Trump is set to return to the White House, securing more than the 270 electoral votes needed to defeat Vice President Kamala Harris and clinch the presidency. As of 4:15 a.m. ET, Trump held 267 electoral votes, and his numbers quickly climbed as key swing states were called in his favor, according to the Associated Press.

This election cycle has been one of the most highly anticipated in recent history. It marked Trump’s third presidential run and included moments of intense drama, from an assassination attempt to a surprising candidate swap. Despite it all, Trump has emerged victorious, making history as only the second U.S. president to serve two nonconsecutive terms, a feat last achieved by Grover Cleveland in the late 1800s.

The Race to 270: Key States Secure Trump’s Win

With 134 million Americans voting, early results showed a tight race, but Trump solidified his lead by winning three crucial battleground states: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. Harris, meanwhile, secured 224 electoral votes.

Ballots are still being counted in other close states, but Trump has maintained leads in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada. Wisconsin, which was called in his favor just after 5:30 a.m., pushed Trump past the 270-vote threshold needed to claim victory. ABC News confirmed the win, and election experts noted that Trump may have also captured the popular vote.

A Historic Presidency, Round Two

Trump’s return to the Oval Office brings with it historic firsts. At 78 years old, he will be the oldest president sworn into office. He also becomes the first president with a criminal conviction to serve. In his first term, Trump enacted sweeping tax reforms, appointed three Supreme Court justices and over 200 federal judges, and brokered significant Middle East agreements like the Abraham Accords.

Republicans Sweep Congress

The election delivered a broader victory for the Republican Party, which regained the Senate majority and appears set to retain control of the House of Representatives. These wins give Trump and the GOP a powerful advantage in shaping policy over the next four years.

What’s Next?

Although unofficial, the results point to Trump’s impending return to the presidency. State officials must finalize and certify vote counts in the coming days, and the Electoral College will formally cast its votes on December 17. Congress will meet to confirm the results on January 6, officially sealing the outcome.

    1. RW is so stupid that they voted 60/40 for Kamala when she is literally unqualified to be president of the USA … and EVERYONE knows it.

      1. It is absolutely incredible how so called “educated” stay at home moms, husband lawyers/doctors etc. and their neighbors are in such herd thinking mode and can’t make a difference between horrible and decent . They are in a state of complete brainwash and can’t bring themselves to even hearing Trump’s name, let alone listen to the things he has to say. They are a special case of crazy that would be perfect for a brain dysfunction study.
Plenty of panic attacks and bouts of depression and schizophrenia for the next 4 years and I won’t feel a bit sorry for them.

We would like to see what the mayor council manager health department do with regarding the health and well-being of the employees who worked at the toxic contaminated locations throughout the village. So far, nothing was conducted. Are they still going to play the same games and hide behind their attorney, or come to their senses?
