Musk Suggests Large-Scale Attack Involved
Musk addressed the issue directly on X, stating:
“There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against X. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved. Tracing…”

According to Downdetector.com, the outage followed a pattern of recurring disruptions throughout the morning.
Not the First Major X Outage
This incident comes just months after X faced a widespread outage in August 2024, when thousands of users reported issues accessing the platform and encountering incorrect timestamps on their feeds.
As X continues investigating, the source of the cyberattack remains unclear.

I have a question. If DOGE.gov is an official government website, why do you have to sign up for X to delve into further information and comments on the “government “ website? Full access to the website is only available to those who sign up for X and make good ol’ Elon a little richer. In the process you give up more personal info about yourself. What a scam. Don’t call it a government website. Will they do the same nonsense with websites for Social Security, Medicare, etc? Only time will tell. We are methodically being controlled more than ever.
