Glen Rock NJ, on Halloween evening, a male employee at Bottle King, located at 909 Prospect Street in Glen Rock, sustained a non-life-threatening leg injury while attempting to stop a shoplifter in the store’s parking lot. The incident occurred as the employee chased after the suspect, who had fled the store, and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Glen Rock EMS promptly responded to the scene, transporting the injured employee to The Valley Hospital in Paramus, where he is receiving treatment. Meanwhile, Glen Rock Police, with assistance from Fair Lawn Police, launched a search for the shoplifting suspect, who was last seen fleeing on foot into Fair Lawn.
Authorities are continuing their efforts to locate the alleged shoplifter.
