  3. The bagels here are very good

  4. Do the bagels use Ridgewood’s public water? Where are the rest of restaurants in Ridgewood getting their water?

    1. Why would someone downvote a question asking where the water comes from?

      1. Because the water is a critical “ingredient” in bagel-making and greatly influences the texture of the final product. It’s a big part of the reason why bagels made in New York are (in most people’s opinion) superior to those made essentially anywhere else…the chewy quality comes from boiling, and the chemical make-up of the water used influences the result.

  5. I’ve been a restaurant business a long time. All I can say is that Ridgewood‘s water is not what are used to be. If the water is no good GuessWhat your product is not that good. I that goes for bagels, bread, pizza, pasta, many thanks. So that’s that Folks.

  6. When I was a kid I couldn’t stop drinking the water. It was so fresh called and clean. Now it doesn’t taste the same, and I understand the government gets involved, who knows what kind of chemicals upper through the water treatment center now.

  8. Lack of parking will kill this place in no time.
The original location they sold is more or less the same as when they owned it.
    Why would I switch?
