Give Chance has been offering a DDartists program for people with developmental disabilities where we hire, pay, and provide educational opportunities for these individuals in a safe and caring environment in order to help them become economically self-reliant with their profession. As we approach the holiday season, we have teamed up with DDartists to design special Christmas ornaments for purchases as part of our Christmas gift bag fundraiser. Our Christmas gift bag fundraiser includes essential tech products such as Charging Duo Stand, Wireless Charging Pad, and Smart Dash Cam from iOttie as well as Le Chocolate Chocolate Covered Pretzels and Christmas Tree Glass Dome. [These products are available on amazon as well but you would be able to receive a discount when purchased from our fundraiser event thanks to the generosity of iOttie] Every purchase will come with a Christmas ornament made by our DDartists.
All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards supporting our DDartists program. More specifically, the profits will be used to purchase necessary equipment, hire teachers, secure a safe learning environment, and pay wages for DDartists.
We are also utilizing this fundraiser as an opportunity to show potential employers that our DDartists are capable of carrying out job responsibilities such as crafting products like ornaments and packaging them. The success of this fundraiser will serve as a testament to our artists’ capability, giving them more opportunities to be self-reliant with their profession in a real world, outside of the DDartists program.
This is a meaningful fundraiser that could make a significant difference in the lives of our DDartists.
