Glen Rock NJ, a Glen Rock resident reported a break-in on Sunday, revealing that more than $5,000 worth of items were stolen from their Range Rover while it was parked in their driveway, according to local police.
The incident came to light on the afternoon of August 4, when the resident noticed that their unlocked vehicle had been entered. The thief made off with a Hermes Constance Wallet valued at $3,200, a Hermes Rose Gold Farandole Pendant worth $2,250, and a credit card.
The case has now been handed over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation as authorities work to identify the perpetrator and recover the stolen items. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and secure valuables to prevent similar incidents.

Why were these items left in the vehicle and why was it left unlocked? People, let’s use common sense for a change.
Hmmm
This cr*p would stop if insurance companies refused to pay people who did not even take elementary steps to safeguard their property.
How can you call it a BREAK-IN when the vehicle was left open and no force had to be used?
How about NEGLIGENT ATTRACTIVE TARGET?
Hey, buddy. The position of a doors lock has nothing to do with it. Locked or unlocked, it is still breaking and entering when you unlawfully enter someone’s home/car. Door could be wide open—still breaking and entering.
Hey, buddy. Just keep your doors locked and zip it.
Investigation?
For what?
Some Range Rover tool left their vehicle unlocked with thousands of dollars of goods inside and now the taxpayers need to waste resources because of your stupidity?
Next time leave the key fob as well. This is a classic example of why these criminals keep coming back. THEY KNOW YOUR RICH AND STUPID
Don’t overlook the possibility that the vehicle was left unlocked with valuables in it for a purpose………………………………..
Surprised they didn’t leave the fob so it could be stolen.
That way they could get out of an underwater vehicle with a large monthly payment (assuming they had GAP coverage).
*you’re*
“now the taxpayers need to waste resources because of your stupidity?”
Don’t forget that these payments also affect rate increases.
This smells like it could be insurance fraud. The owner should be investigated.
I’m sure a first-year detective can solve this crime.
The stupid homeowner can be found at the same address.
