Ridgewood NJ, in what can only be called another set back for out door dining in the Central Business District a mid-morning large grease spill on Broad street left a bad smell in the air on a hot and humid Thursday.
Details over the accident remain fuzzy ,but the Ridgewood blog was told the smell ,”was unbearable” . The photo from later in the day still shows the outline from the massive spill with Ridgewood Fire still in attendance.
Hopefully the rain last night washed away some of the residue .
Maybe I missed it. Did the grease ooze out of a village garbage truck..?
Looks like the photo was taken from the top of the garage !
Just like the Willard District every Sunday night! The Waldwick sewage plant just across the brook lets out the nasty stench .. just take a walk around Habernackle on a Sunday night! Smells worse than a rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike!
Huh, not good.
This town stinks!
Somebody made a boo-boo
Wash your hands
Does anybody know who’s a contractor who made the mess. Maybe they were picking up grease and fat behind the restaurants. Most of those locations behind the restaurants where they store the fat in Grease or a mess.
