Ridgewood NJ, the Foodie Blog boozyburbs is reporting a new restaurant and inn proposed for Garber Square in Ridgewood. According to boozyburbs the proposed inn and restaurant would be housed at 2-4 Garber Square, known as the Corsa Building, with the first floor housing a restaurant that includes a liquor license. The second floor will be home to a six room inn offering overnight accommodations .
Inns are generally establishments or buildings where travelers can seek lodging, and usually, food and drink. Inns are typically located in the country or along a highway; before the advent of motorized transportation they also provided accommodation for horses. We do not believe the proposed inn will have accommodations for horses .
Inns have a long history in American and their roots can be traced back to Jamestown in 1607 . In Bergen The Three Pigeons was a prominent and famous meeting place in Bergen Township,  during the revolutionary period, and was used historically as a landmark as well as a popular place for hosting special occasions. Locally the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn is a historic landmark that is currently a restaurant located in Ho-Ho-Kus, at the intersection of Franklin Turnpike, Maple Avenue, and Sheridan Avenue. Its name was taken from a Delaware Indian term meaning “the red ceder”.Established in 1790, The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn was once known as The Mansion House and consists of five rooms: Chateau, Crystal, Hermitage, Tap, and Zabriskie.
Let me tell you something at this point they better let whoever wants to put a business into the CBD. The CBD is hurting big-time. They need different kind of businesses, Let them go for it.
I give this place a few months at the most. The investors are going to lose their shirts.
no horses …wtf ?
sounds like a great idea.
Plenty of parking over by Mount Carmel !
Plenty of room for horses in the Hudson Street Garage/Stable.
Isn’t garner square full of apartments? Where will it be built?
I kinda like the idea. Just don’t let the VC exert too much control or it will become a disaster.

WTF for? 🙄
I hope it becomes haunted.
It was the lack of parking that killed Pease Library and the Rosebud.
Do it, give it a try.
Where did the liquor license come from? Did they transfer it from the Elks? I though there were only 5 in town, with any addition to the total not possible. Anyone know the details?
They Shoot Horses Don’t
They ? Perhaps Brothel might extend such a risky enterprise…Vor needs more cash and carry-On Trades
There’s Mac Murphy’s nearby!
They should have 30 parking spaces but they will have none. Where will their customers and overnight guests park?
Don’t tell me that they won’t need any because the guests will come by train.
I think in Inwood be a great establishment in the CBD. It’s definitely different than someone’s thinking. Instead of the same old shit.
I like the idea maybe after I move out I may want to spend a night in town, maybe
