Ridgewood NJ, New Jersey voters may soon face a critical decision: Will they allow the state’s powerful teachers’ union to handpick their next governor?
Chicago’s Mistake: A Warning for New Jersey
In 2023, Chicago voters elected Brandon Johnson, a former Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) lobbyist, as their mayor. Johnson’s campaign was almost entirely funded by the union, and since taking office, he has governed with one priority: serving the union, not the people.
The results? A disaster.
📉 Johnson’s approval rating has plummeted to a shocking 6.6% after he attempted to raise taxes—despite promising not to during his campaign. Chicagoans are now experiencing severe buyer’s remorse.
Now, New Jersey’s Teachers’ Union Wants a Governor of Their Own
New Jersey’s 200,000-member New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) is attempting a similar power grab. According to Politico, an independent expenditure group run by former union leaders is preparing to spend a staggering $35 million to elect NJEA President Sean Spiller as New Jersey’s next governor.
Who Is Sean Spiller? A Union-Funded Progressive
Spiller, a staunch progressive, recently served as mayor of Montclair—arguably the most “woke” town in New Jersey. His record raises serious concerns:
🚨 Supports Rent Control – Ignoring the economic damage it causes.
🚨 Favors Automatic Pay Raises for Government Workers – Regardless of performance or fiscal responsibility.
🚨 Opposes School Choice – Denying parents alternatives to failing public schools.
🚨 Pushed for Prolonged School Closures During COVID – Despite mounting evidence of the devastating impact on student learning.
Under Spiller’s influence, test scores in New Jersey have plummeted. And now, he wants even more power.
New Jersey’s Future: A Crossroads
If Spiller wins, New Jersey will be firmly under union control—just like Chicago. That means:
🔻 Higher Taxes to fund union demands.
🔻 More Government Overreach in education and housing.
🔻 Fewer Options for Parents and Students as school choice policies are dismantled.
The Bottom Line: Can New Jersey Afford This?
Chicago’s experiment in union-backed leadership has failed miserably. Will New Jersey voters make the same mistake?
If Spiller wins, here’s our advice for New Jersey residents: It may be time to move.
💬 What do you think? Will Sean Spiller turn New Jersey into another Chicago? Let us know in the comments! ⬇️

Vote for a republican candidate!
Is there declining participation within the NJEA?
Hope and Change sure was strange.
NJ has a lot of low information voters who sit on their ass and watch Netflix all day!
The people sitting on their arses watching Netflix all day don’t participate in the democratic process in any significant way. That’s handled much higher up on the totem pole by people with much bigger pockets.
Their job is to SHUT UP and VOTE D
I heard that he did a terrible job as Mayor of Montclair, so why would we vote him into higher office. Go for Steve Fulop, a much better choice.
It you like congestion tax on route 4 and route 17
Speaking of puppets, look at the Village Of Ridgewood. That’s why they put in management do what I say not as I do, well tell you how high to jump, right, no experience, no test scores, no training, here you go ,you got the job sucker take the keys enjoy.
