Mahwah NJ,  a massive implosion is scheduled for the Sheraton Crossroads hotel on the morning of Saturday, May 10, and drivers are strongly advised to avoid the intersection of Routes 17, 287, and 202 during this major demolition event.

Historic Sheraton Crossroads Hotel to Be Demolished

The 37-year-old, 25-story Sheraton Crossroads hotel, located at 1 International Boulevard, will be demolished by implosion at approximately 7:30 a.m. The event marks the end of an era for the towering 250-foot-tall structure, once a landmark in Bergen County.

🚧 Major Road Closures & Traffic Disruptions Expected

Expect full traffic stops and road closures in the surrounding areas as the New Jersey State Police and local officials manage safety during the implosion.

• State Police begin patrols at 5:00 a.m.
