Man Sentenced to 3 years in Prison after Threatening NJ TRANSIT Train Conductors with Knife⁣

Ridgewood NJ, during 2020, New Jersey Transit Police Officers responded to reports of an offender who threatened multiple conductors. This included threats made while brandishing a knife.⁣

⁣The man, Darryl Stockling, was ultimately arrested by NJTPD. He recently plead guilty and was sentenced to an incarceration length of 3 years.⁣
This should remind anyone intending to harm a train crew member or bus operator that you will be caught and held accountable. NJ Transit Bus Operators and Train Crews are protected employees under the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any assault on NJ TRANSIT bus operators and train crews carries a prison term of up to 5 years and fines of up to $15,000 dollars.⁣
