New York NY, It looks like being anti-Semitic isn’t so fashionable anymore—at least, not under the Trump administration. The government is making sure that those who harass Jewish students on college campuses face real consequences, and some activists are learning the hard way that their actions come with legal repercussions.

Columbia Student’s Deportation Drama

Yunseo Chung, a junior at Columbia University, has found herself at the center of a legal battle after the Trump administration targeted her for deportation. Chung, a permanent resident who moved to the U.S. at age 7, was involved in pro-Palestinian protests—or, as officials put it, “pro-Hamas” demonstrations—on campus.

Despite being a minor player in the movement, Chung’s attorneys claim her deportation order is part of a broader effort to send a message: Anti-Semitism won’t be tolerated.

A federal judge Tuesday blocked the Trump administration from deporting a Chung .

Trump Administration’s Message: No Apologies

A White House spokesperson made it clear that the administration makes no apologies for protecting Jewish Americans from antisemitism. And they’re not just stopping at deportations—they’ve also revoked $400 million in federal funding from Columbia University for failing to protect Jewish students from harassment.

As part of its crackdown, the administration is also demanding that universities hand over the names and nationalities of students involved in such behavior. The message? Hate comes with consequences.

Federal Agents on the Hunt

ICE agents have been actively searching for Chung, even visiting her parents’ home. Chung was arrested by the NYPD during a protest at Barnard College and was cited for “obstruction of governmental administration.” But her lawsuit argues that her constitutional rights are being violated.

Officials, however, aren’t buying it. A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson noted that Chung had engaged in “concerning conduct” and confirmed that she is being sought for deportation.

Meanwhile, another activist, Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia student and one of the faces of the protests, is already detained in Louisiana awaiting his deportation proceedings.

Columbia University Under Federal Investigation

It’s not just individual protesters in the hot seat. Columbia University is also under federal investigation for allegedly “harboring and concealing illegal aliens.” Federal agents even searched dorm rooms under warrants citing the harboring statute, which penalizes those who shelter noncitizens illegally residing in the U.S.

Even more shocking, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has openly stated that Columbia is being investigated for its involvement in the matter.

Trump’s Immigration Crackdown: No More Free Passes

The Trump administration has made it crystal clear that it won’t tolerate pro-Hamas activism disguised as student protests. With deportation orders, funding cuts, and federal investigations, it’s safe to say that campus anti-Semites are no longer getting a free pass.

What do you think? Should universities be held accountable for allowing anti-Semitic protests on campus? Share your thoughts in the comments.

  1. Well it’s official, we know whose running America.

  2. I guess the Priztker and Strauss families will be getting deported next since they bankrolled the protests.

    1. Sure. Just as soon as Trump prosecutes Fauci, et al. for potential crimes they allegedly didn’t commit but for which they need special legal immunity.

  3. Don’t forget to use barges. Cheap and easy to maintain. Why must they fly?
