Ridgewood NJ, New Jersey Transit Police officers were happy to reunite a fiancé with her stolen engagement ring. She had been traveling on the Hudson Bergen Light Rail days prior when her ring was stolen. At that time, she reached out to NJTPD and officers Markowitz and Sullivan responded to assist. The officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed a suspect take the ring and flee from the area.
Wednesday morning, Officer Markowitz and Officer Rosario were conducting a security initiative at Jersey Avenue Station. They crossed paths with the suspect, recovered the ring, and made an apprehension. New Jersey Transit Police are happy to assist you no matter how big or how small your need may be.
