Union City NJ, on Thursday, November 30th, NJ Transit Police provided protection during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hudson Tunnel Project. Announced by Governor Murphy, this historic event marked the start of work for the most important infrastructure project in America.
The project involves the construction of a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River between New Jersey and New York as well as the rehabilitation of the existing tunnel that has been in use for over 100 years.
The Hudson Tunnel Project proposes to rehabilitate the existing tunnel under the Hudson River that carries Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT Northeast Corridor passenger trains between New Jersey and New York, and construct a new tunnel and associated railroad infrastructure to carry passenger rail trains while the existing tunnel is being rehabilitated.

Always having to remain skeptical, how much did Conti Construction contribute to political campaigns in recent years?
You would be hard pressed to find any company that does business with government or is regulated by government that doesn’t make political contributions and employ lobbyists.
Perhaps the answer is limiting political campaign spending and publicly funding it.
I see the same contractors doing all the roadwork here
