Ridgewood NJ, “TEST TO STAY” GUIDANCE The US CDC on December 17 said unvaccinated students exposed to a person with COVID-19 can remain in school if they are tested twice in the week following exposure and both tests are negative. The new guidance, known as “test to stay,” is an effort to keep children in school instead of having to quarantine at home and miss class, while also alleviating the burden on parents to arrange child care.

Rite Aid Significantly Expands COVID-19 Testing

Waldwick NJ, Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) will significantly expand its COVID-19 testing effort with the addition of 46 no-charge testing sites, most of which will operate through its stores’ drive-through windows, beginning May 11, 2020. Rite Aid is also expanding COVID-19 testing criteria at all testing sites to include adults who are not exhibiting any symptoms of the virus, effective immediately in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance.

Expanded Access to Testing at Bergen Community College and PNC Bank Arts Center

Paramus NJ,New Jersey’s Community Based Testing Sites located at Bergen Community College and PNC Bank Arts Center will expand access to testing for COVID-19. The two testing locations, established in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will be open to asymptomatic New Jersey residents. In addition to continued testing for symptomatic residents, testing will be prioritized for asymptomatic health care workers and first responders, personnel in congregate living settings, and New Jersey residents who have been in close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Mobile COVID19 Testing will be Offered to Bergen County Residents with or Without Symptoms

Paramus NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco announces that the County of Bergen and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center will partner to bring mobile testing to communities across the county starting next Tuesday, May 12. This community mobile testing program will offer walk-up Saliva COVID-19 tests and COVID-19 Antibody tests to county and municipal residents as well as first responders, healthcare workers, and municipal or county employees who works in Bergen County with proof of employment.
