Hasbrouck Heights Fire Responds to Electrical Fire on Church Street

Hasbrouck Heights NJ, at around 8:30 am March 12th, members of the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department responded to Church St for a reported electrical fire. Chief 60 transmitted a 1030 and requested mutual aid from the Wood-Ridge and Carlstadt Fire Departments. Crews stretched into the apartment and found fire in the wall. The fire was quickly extinguished before any extension.No injuries Reported.

Ridgewood Fire Responded to an Electrical Fire on Godwin Avenue

Ridgewood NJ,

Ridgewood firefighters responded to a suspected electrical fire in a second floor bedroom at a single family home in the 400 block of Godwin Avenue on  Monday morning, 01/31. No injuries were reported in the incident and damage to the structure was very minor in nature. A malfunctioning heater, not a fire as initially suspected, was confirmed by fire department personnel to be the source of excessive smoke inside of the structure.  Ridgewood PD provided  traffic control at the scene.

Electrical fire forced the temporary evacuation of the Ethos Spa in Midland Park

Midland Park NJ, An electrical fire that originated in a commercial laundry dryer forced the temporary evacuation of the Ethos Spa at 85 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park on Thursday morning, 08/13. Midland Park FD responded and determined that the fire had not extended beyond the laundry room area. No injuries were reported and following ventilation of all smoke from the area, the premises were able to be reoccupied. Midland Park PD also responded.
