Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ, according to the latest results from the FDU Poll, sponsored by the Fuel Merchants Association of New Jersey, New Jersey voters support the recently passed fees on electric vehicles by more than a 2 to 1 margin. The survey questions, which monitored the opinions of voters on transportation funding, also show that a majority of voters (58-34) want gas tax and vehicle registration revenues to be dedicated to funding roads and bridges, rather than used to subsidize New Jersey Transit.

Madison NJ, Fairleigh Dickinson University, most New Jersey residents say that politicians in the state are “very” or “somewhat” corrupt, and they’re only a little more positive about their own representatives in state and local government. According to the latest results from the FDU Poll, 80 percent of New Jersey residents say that the state’s politicians are at least “a little” corrupt, a view driven by partisanship and views of Governor Phil Murphy.

Madison NJ, Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey residents narrowly oppose the continued development of off-shore wind farms, with concerns about the recent deaths of whales and dolphins reducing support for the green energy project. According to the latest results from the FDU Poll, 35 percent of New Jersey residents say that the state should continue the development of the wind farms off the coast, with 39 percent saying that development should be halted.

Roseland NJ, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) awarded $221,500 in scholarships to 53 New Jersey-based high school and college students on April 27 at the Pines Manor in Edison. Out of 146 applicants, the NJCPA Scholarship Fund distributed scholarships to 35 college students and 18 high school students.

The 2022-2023 season was historic for both the men’s and women’s teams who each won over 20+ games. The FDU Lady Knights set a regular season record for most wins in a season and took home the Northeast Conference season championship.
