Hackensack NJ, on November 8th, the City of Hackensack Fire Department’s 1st Platoon responded to a vehicle fire in the parking garage of Hackensack University Medical Center. The incident involved an engine compartment fire that was quickly contained thanks to the coordinated efforts of HUMC Security and 1st Platoon firefighters.

Carlstadt NJ, a beaming Melissa Dunn expressed her deep gratitude as her son, Officer Mark Dunn Jr., returned to their Carlstadt home on Saturday after a harrowing two-week stay at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dunn, a 24-year-old Allendale police officer, sustained severe injuries in a multi-car accident caused by a suspected drunk driver on Route 17 South.

Hackensack NJ, a 74-year-old man from Garfield sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Essex Street near Parkway in Hackensack on Wednesday evening, according to local authorities.

Twp of Washington NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the conviction of PATRICK J. CAMILLI, 59, of Twp of Washington in connection with the murder of Mary E. Huber on October 23, 2021. After a four-week trial that began in September 2024 before the Honorable James X. Sattely, P.J.S.C. in Bergen County Superior Court, the defendant was found guilty. Sentencing is scheduled for November 22, 2024.

Fair Lawn NJ, a dramatic Thursday morning collision in Fair Lawn sent both vehicles involved off the roadway, with one crashing onto a home’s front lawn and the other mounting a retaining wall. The accident occurred on October 10 in the 300 block of Saddle River Road.

Hackensack NJ, early Thursday morning, the City of Hackensack Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Hackensack University Medical Center. At 6:38 a.m., dispatch received a call from Gamewell box #148 at 30 Prospect Avenue, indicating an activated fire alarm at the medical center. Fire crews from Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 4, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, and Deputy 4 were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Glen Rock NJ, a serious three-vehicle collision occurred on Thursday morning, August 15, at the intersection of Ackerman Avenue and Rock Road in Glen Rock, resulting in injuries to all three drivers involved. The crash, which took place during the morning commute, left two of the drivers with serious injuries. They were quickly transported by separate ambulances to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus for treatment.
