Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock experienced two hit-and-run incidents within a span of two hours, according to the Glen Rock Police Department. These unfortunate events took place on Tuesday, June 11, and the police are now seeking help from the public to identify the responsible drivers.

Fair Lawn NJ, both occupants of a late model 4-door BMW sedan declined medical evaluation following an early Sunday morning, 05/05, crash in which their vehicle slammed head on into a utility pole at the intersection of Route 208 northbound and Harristown Road in Glen Rock. Glen Rock Police handled the accident investigation while Fair Lawn Police provided traffic control. A flatbed tow truck removed the BMW from the scene.

Glen Rock NJ, while in police custody for alleged DUI, the driver of white colored SUV was transported by a Glen Rock EMS ambulance to The Valley Hospital following a Monday evening, 12/04, crash in the 600 block of Harristown Road, Glen Rock. Police allege that at approximately 6:15 PM, the driver stuck a utility pole prior to slamming head on into a Borough owned tree and coming to rest. There were no passengers in the SUV when it crashed. A tow truck was dispatched to remove the heavily damaged vehicle from the roadway. Harristown Road was temporarily closed between Berkeley Place and Ridge Road while emergency crews worked.

Glen Rock NJ, the driver of a tractor trailer allegedly disregarded a stop sign while exiting Route 208 southbound at Harristown Road, Glen Rock on Friday evening, 11/03, and collided with a sedan carrying at least three (3) occupants. Glen Rock EMS reported three (3) injuries at the scene, with two (2) victims requiring ambulance transportation to Hackensack University Center’s main campus. The wrecked sedan was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Fair Lawn Police assisted Glen Rock Police with traffic control.

Glen Rock NJ, on September 21st at 6:06 AM an Emerson Road resident reported to the Glen Rock Police Department a prowler, dressed in a light-colored hoodie, in their driveway near their vehicles. The resident turned on lights both inside and outside of their home. When they did this, a light-colored sedan in the street honked its horn. The individual in their driveway then ran to the vehicle which fled the area on Belmont Road towards Harristown Road prior to police being notified.

Glen Rock NJ, The driver of an older model Volkswagen Jetta was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center after sustaining injuries in a Thursday afternoon, 08/31, collision on Route 208 northbound at Harristown Road, Glen Rock. The demolished vehicle was towed from the scene. Glen Rock Police and Glen Rock EMS responded to the incident.

Glen Rock NJ, three (3) ambulances were dispatched early Tuesday evening, 08/15, to Route 208 northbound at Harristown Road in Glen Rock in response to a 911 telephone call reporting that four (4) occupants of a Nissan Rogue were injured when their vehicle crashed head on into a utility pole. EMTs staffing ambulances from Glen Rock and Fair Lawn evaluated all four (4) victims and only one (1) adult passenger requested ambulance transport to a local hospital. A flatbed tow truck removed the damaged SUV from the scene. Fair Lawn Police assisted Glen Rock Police with traffic control.

Glen Rock NJ, a single vehicle, late Sunday night, 06/25, rollover crash in the 300 block of Harristown Road, Glen Rock trapped the passenger car’s driver inside until she could be freed by firefighters from Glen Rock Fire Department and Hawthorne Fire Department. The victim was transported by a Glen Rock EMS ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus. A paramedic team assisted with evaluating the victim prior to her transport. The rolled over vehicle was righted and removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. PSE&G’s Electric Division was notified that a utility pole may have been compromised when it was struck in the mishap.

Glen Rock NJ, a Nissan Rogue crashed into a utility pole on Route 208 northbound at Harristown Road in Glen Rock late Saturday night, 03/25. The vehicle’s driver and a passenger were transported to The Valley Hospital by a Glen Rock EMS ambulance. Injuries were reported to be non life threatening in nature. Glen Rock Police investigated the crash. Fair Lawn Police also responded to the incident. A flatbed tow truck removed the heavily damaged SUV from the scene. No damage was apparent to the utility pole.

Glen Rock NJ, on Monday the 9th of January at 2:26 PM , Glen Rock Police Officers were dispatched to Congressman Josh Gottheimer’s Office on Harristown Road in response to a subject on scene threatening staff members. Responding officers field contacted the subject who was upset about not being able to schedule an appointment with the Congressman, who was not present at the office, to address concerns they wished to raise. Working with the U.S. Capitol Police and the Congressman’s staff, officers were able to guide the subject through the process to schedule a meeting for a later date. The subject was satisfied and left the area without further incident.

Fair Lawn NJ, a VW Jetta was destroyed by fire on Harristown Road near Route 208, Fair Lawn late Tuesday afternoon, 01/03. Fair Lawn Fire Company #2 extinguished the blaze with the help of Glen Rock Fire Department. Fair Lawn Police and Glen Rock Police provided traffic control. The burnt Jetta was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. No injuries reported .

Glen Rock NJ, on Saturday September 17th at 11:18 AM a Glen Rock resident of Harristown Road reported a theft of mail from his mailbox. The resident stated that camera footage captured a vehicle enter his driveway. A female occupant walked around the outside of his home and then entered his front porch. The female tried to open the front door of the home which was locked at the time and then proceeded to remove the mail from the victim’s mailbox. The actor then took the mail and returned to her vehicle and left the scene. The Glen Rock detective bureau is investigating.

Glen Rock NJ, a FedEx delivery van became wedged underneath an office building on Harristown Road in Glen Rock for almost 3 1/2 hours on Monday, 08/09, causing significant damage to the building’s water driven fire suppression system. Glen Rock Police and Glen Rock Fire Department became aware of the mishap after responding to a central station monitored, “water flow detected,” automatic fire alarm notification at the address. The vehicle’s driver reportedly told arriving police officers that “at least I got a free car wash.” A tow truck operator had to remove all four (4) wheels from the vehicle in order to free it. No word from police on the scene as to whether any summonses would be issued in connection with the crash. The vehicle did not appear to have sustained damage that would have prevented it from being driven from the scene on its own power.
