No Injuries Reported as Wyckoff Fire Crews Quicky Knock Down House Fire

Wyckoff NJ, firefighters responded to Kingston Street in Wyckoff. Wyckoff Fire crews made a quick knock down and save the home from considerable damage .  Waldwick  Ladder 641 responded on the 2nd alarm .

Fire fighters from Waldwick, Ho-Ho-Kus and Ramsey  were among the mutual aid responders. No injuries were reported .

Multiple Towns Called in on Maywood House Fire

Maywood NJ, on April 1st at approximately 16:06 hours, the Maywood Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 250 Maywood Avenue after a 911 caller reported heavy smoke coming from a house.
Maywood Police and Assistant Chief Gargagliano arrived on scene moments after dispatch and confirmed a working basement fire at 11 East Hunter Avenue. The working fire response brought mutual aid from Rochelle Park and Hackensack immediately to the scene. Maywood companies forced entry to the unoccupied house and advanced hose lines to extinguish the fire.

Englewood NJ, On Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at 3:32 a.m. the Englewood Police Department Communications Center received a report of a house fire on Green St. with people trapped inside. Englewood Police and Englewood Fire personnel were immediately dispatched.

Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department Quickly Quickly Knocked Down 2 Alarm Bedroom Fire

Wyckoff NJ, While answering multiple fire calls this morning, the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a residential home for smoke filling the home. Upon arrival, crews confirmed a working fire and requested a second alarm to be dispatched. The fire was quickly knocked down and brought under control. Thank you to all the mutual aid that responded for their assistance. Our thoughts are with the owners of the home.

Waldwick House Fire Quickly Extinguished

Waldwick NJ, all Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department units responded to a residential structure fire in a home on Lincoln Place. Chief Mike Ferrara arrived and found an active fire on the second floor. Chief Ferrara called for a 2nd alarm bringing Midland Park, HoHoKus, Saddle River, Wyckoff, Ramsey and Mahwah Fire Departments to the scene with Upper Saddle River Fire Department on standby. Waldwick, NJ Volunteer Fire Department units made an interior attack extinguishing the Fire very quickly. We would like to thank our mutual aid companies for their assistance.

Glen Rock NJ, A house fire at 506 Prospect Street in Glen Rock on Monday evening, 02/20, was battled by firefighters from Fair Lawn, Glen Rock, Hawthorne, Midland Park, and Ridgewood. At least one (1) firefighter was injured while fighting the smokey blaze. Ridgewood EMS assisted Glen Rock EMS at the scene, and Ridgewood PD units assisted Glen Rock PD with traffic control.

Ridgewood NJ, A fire that began on the second floor of a home located at 19 Liberty Street, Ridgewood, reported at approximately 4:30 PM on Friday, 11/28, was quickly extinguished by Ridgewood fire fighters with the assistance of fire personnel from Glen Rock and Waldwick.  The fire may have started in a clothes dryer and spread to clothing left on top of the unit.  Flames were visible through a second floor rear window of the home.  No injuries were reported.  East Ridgewood Avenue was closed between South Irving Street and South Maple Avenue due to hose lines stretched across the roadway.  The fire was contained to one room, however smoke and water damage impacted the first floor below and attic above.
