Linwood NJ, former gubernatorial, candidate Joseph Rudy Rullo commented on the close vote count in the GOP Senatorial primary and explained the situation in a comment on Facebook on Saturday

“Thank you to all my supporters who worked so hard to elect Hirsh Singh in GOP primary to remove Cory Booker from politics. We will not know who the winner is most likely until July 22nd. This will be when all ballots are counted for those who voted in person. Many mail in ballots coming in until next Tuesday deadline will not even be counted until that Wednesday. Hirsh has almost 80% of the vote in 4 of the most Republican counties and if this trend continues in combination of even more new ballots to count numbers will change significantly. Nobody has any idea of how many people actually voted until all mail in ballots are received, so how can you even figure out mathematically. The universe of voters is not constant. Its variable. We have no idea what the outcome will be. This is the reason why myself and Hirsh Singh disagreed with Rik Mehta team about Vote by mail ballots which they support. We opposed vote by mail from the beginning and wanted voters to go to polls using voting machines. It is a complete disaster!”

April 20, or 4/20, is known by many as “Weed Day”

April 20,2017

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, April 20, or 4/20, is known by many as “Weed Day” in some circles because the date corresponds with a numerical code for marijuana. There are many legends and rumors as to where the name came from .

However one thing is true for Garden Stater’s it was first reported by The Star-Ledger’s Editorial Page Editor Tom Moran in a Sunday column arguing passionately for legalization. Joseph Rudy Rullo, a declared Republican candidate for New Jersey governor in 2017, also supports marijuana legalization.

Rullo claimed this morning that ,”420k revenue in the first quarter after recreational marijuana is passed when I’m Governor in 2018 will give new meaning to this day!”

Today many 4/20 supporters celebrate the day with events being held all over the country .

In Toronto, Canadian medical marijuana hub Lift will be out providing tokens for free rides on public transit on 4/20 to promote safe travel to those celebrating the holiday.

HIGH TIMES is hosting a Cannabis Cup in San Bernardino, California, April 21-23, which will include major musical acts like Wu-Tang Clan and A$AP Ferg, vendors, exhibitions, and much more.

The first-ever Bud Drop will countdown to 4:20 on 4/20 at a party in San Francisco. The event is hosted by greenRush, a cannabis delivery marketplace, which was founded by two people with years of previous experience behind New Year’s event promotion.

In New Jersey, the East Coast Cannabis Coalition will be holding a rally at Trenton City Hall (319 East State St.) at 2 p.m. followed by a march (leisurely, we presume) to the State House at 2:30 p.m., with a rally for marijuana legalization there followed by a smoke-out at 4:20 p.m.

Four states now permit the recreational use of marijuana, with certain restrictions, including age: Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, plus Washington, D.C., while other states have removed jail time for possessing of small amounts of marijuana, including New York, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut and Massachusetts. And 23 states permit the use of medical marijuana, including New Jersey.

Ridgewood NJ, Steve Rogers, a township commissioner in Nutley has been after outsider Joseph Rudy Rullo from the start of his campaign . Yesterday Rullo turned up the heat accusing Rogers of simply posturing for the Lt Governor job.

In a Facebook post Joseph Rudy Rullo said ,”I believe the rumor Rogers is in race to take away votes from our campaign and posturing for Lt Governor was validated today. Between him announcing one year late into our campaign using much of our platform as a guide and targeting our support and last few months of defending Guadagno. I challenge Rogers to pledge not to accept Lt Governor position if offered by any of the establishment candidates! Like my other two opponents he has been in office for over a decade and ladder climbing is unacceptable at the expense of Draining The Swamp In Trenton and fixing NJ. This is another reason his campaign hasn’t resonated with non establishment voters who don’t trust career politicians and their calculated political motives!!!!”

Gubernatorial candidate Joseph R. Rullo offers Fixes to New Jersey’s Pension Crisis

Joseph R

Ridgewood Nj, Jersey Born and Bred Gubernatorial candidate Joseph R. Rullo has put together a few ideas to solve the state’s massive pension crisis. Most of the ideas are relatively painless for employees and taxpayers and unlike other grand schemes easily doable .

Rullo starts with investing basics by looking to eliminate $700 million in pension fees to NYC politically connected brokerage houses and replace with licensed brokers in the state investors division to pay savings towards pension payment.  The pension fees went from 125M to 700M per year in the last 7 years.

Let’s face it according to the all the town hall protesters New Jersey loves Obamacare so Rullo says :

*Open up state employee health insurance bids across America to create competition to lower premiums and get better coverage for employees.

Rullo get creative with the next one;

* Dedicate a portion of recreational marijuana revenues to pay towards pension payment.

Was first reported by The Star-Ledger’s Editorial Page Editor Tom Moran in a Sunday column arguing passionately for legalization. Joseph Rudy Rullo, a declared Republican candidate for New Jersey governor in 2017, also supports marijuana legalization.…/praise-for-phil-murphy-marijuana-le…

And finally something that long over do in the state of New Jersey . We can start with the pensions and work our way through every state agency .

* Open up a formal investigation and audit the pension fund for the last several decades to hold politicians in both parties accountable for their actions.

NJ Gubernatorial candidate Joseph Rudy Rullo: Illegal immigration destroyed the Landscaping industry

Joseph Rudy Rullo,

February 17,2017

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, According to NJ Gubernatorial candidate Joseph Rudy Rullo Illegal immigration destroyed the Landscaping industry for legal businesses following the laws, and is just as devastating to NJ jobs. It’s dificult to compete with a business not paying payroll taxes, employee comp, and not following the same rules. All the jobs lost are directly proportional to NJ unemployment. Just ask business owners following the rules. Ask the employees unemployed or underemployed. Imagine the losses to employee comp insurance revenue and state income taxes. The impact on rates for businesses following the law!

Many illegal immigrants are now running businesses themselves with illegal employees charging less than half of what a job is worth. This summer I couldn’t do a job for cost what an illegal competitor was charging. One of these illegal business owners drives around with a fraudulent license from Mexico with a New Jersey address. He built his business stealing accounts from his former employer for 10 plus years who also used illegal immigrants. The company was fined 13k for failing to have a home improvement license last year. The courts are buried in old warrants from illegal immigrants who never show up to court. They don’t exist.

Our police are overburdened with hands virtually tied because NJ is a sanctuary state. Out of state license plates and DMV fraud are the law of the land. As Governor I will implement E- Verify for all employees working in New Jersey and work with President Donald Trump to eliminate sanctuary cities across NJ. Everyone must follow the same rules in business and follow the law. Our veterans will of NJ will be first priority in NJ hospitals not illegal immigrants. ( )

NJ needs an outsider candidate like Joseph Rudy Rullo. Straight forward, honest and not afraid to stand up to the politician as usual. NJ has been rooked for too many years. Time for a different approach.

Outspoken Bayonne Paster Has Home Vandalized

January 23,2017

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Bayonne, NJ according to WABC news a Controversy over building a mosque in New Jersey appears to be linked to vandalism.
A pastor opposing the plan was the target of a graffiti attack at his home in Bayonne.

Signs read, “Save Bayonne, Stop the Mosque,” at the home of Evangelist Pastor Joseph Basile. According to Pastor Basile ,
“Someone came and threatened us if we did not take the signs down,” That culprit was later arrested, but this past Saturday
expletives were spray painted on the pastor’s home.

All this comes as a year old controversy simmers. Bayonne’s Muslim community wants to build a mosque at a shuttered warehouse on East 24th Street at a dead end. The pastor agrees along with many of the neighbors that worry about traffic.

“It should be somewhere else in the center of town , this is a dead end, lots of traffic,” said Surinder Kumar, a resident, but other neighbors don’t seem to mind “If someone wants to build something where people gather, I have no problem with it,” said Sarah Ulm

Pastor Basile admits there is a lot of concern also about what will be taught at the proposed mosque and community center. Paster Basile said he has attended meetings and says he asked pointed questions.”My first question was, do you believe in Sharia Law. His lawyer jumped up and would not answer,” Basile said.

The attack on the Pastors home has gotten the attention of Joseph Rudy Rullo who is running for Governor of New Jersey , Rullo said ,” I condemn the recent attack on a Bayonne religious leaders home who recently questioned whether a proposed mosque would include the teaching of Sharia law. Sharia law clearly violates the US constitution!”

Waheed Akbar of Bayonne Muslims, first denounced the vandalism at the pastor’s home, and says the group has reached out to the community, offering a look at who they are, in the midst of their temporary home being vandalized with hate messages.

CAIR-NJ has asked the Feds to probe “Pro-Trump” hate graffiti targeting Bayonne Mosque.
